Thank you so much. Your prayers are well received. God bless! BTW, go to Portugal for a vacation, stay a week, two weeks, three weeks, a month and go back to your home-paradise. 😀

Highly recommend finding a discount grocery near you... they are often called bent and dent. Can get organic for peanuts.

What are your 3 sons up to. They we so young when you arrived in Cuenca.

Yes, they were young but they became adults, got married and doing their own thing at the moment but we'll be together again soon! Nothing is as important as family. We still have one son in the nest. Thanks for watching! Blessings.

The economy is strong. Since you are younger you can easily go back to work. I am not sure if 'average social security wages' is livable in America.

I think people have to make their own experience, as far as I understand you both were a lot of years abroad, that doesn`t fit to the overwhelming evidence of it is better at home, since otherwise you could have figured this out after a few weeks. The US for me in Germany sounds a lot more free and I would go there, but I hear that Americans also are unhappy with their country, I heared also a lot of people saying that it was the best choice for them to go abroad. I`m completely against this God, he is the source of nearly all problems today, he never was something else as humans who want gain power and money by it.

That's the point we've been reiterating for years. Most people don 't make it abroad for various reasons; only a small portion end up staying more than two years. We had our sons with us. We didn't allow ourselves to be an ATM. We opted for cheaper, comfortable homes and apartments over the "luxury" high-rises. So, just those three things, Having family with you, learning the language and knowing how to live inexpensively but comfortable....you will enjoy your time abroad more and probably stay abroad longer like we did.
