No it's not It has lack of buttons It has a cheap design even the charge connector If you accidentally get it wet it'll short out your battery and they do that on purpose so that you have to spend more money or buy a new speaker JBL is just a fucking name seriously they're not even as good as both Yes they produce good sound but guess what they did what everybody did they waited until the technology got cheap and then they sat there and cheapped out and other areas those speakers are fucking cheap I punch the shit right out of mine hard through it like hit 20 haymakers fucking thing is a piece of garbage I don't respect JBL
Such an amazingly smart design, use a passive radiator to double the size of the speaker air moving capabilities, in a full range speaker that's why she thumps loud when landed on a surface. Brilliant!
@@alexanderhur1560 Si, as the video shows it's clever topology in the plastic radiator that directs the bass through the bottom of the unit. It's pretty amazing tech for its size and price point.
Don't know what specific glue they use , but would imagine any type of marine or waterproof sealant would work perfect, such as ,loctite, JB watertweld, ,thanks for sharing the disassemble vid , I was wanting to take off the clip without destroying the speaker completely, now it's done ! 👍
I call it a passive subwoofer. I've seen this in cheaper bluetooth-speakers. It is like a subwoofer-speaker, but has no coil, so cannot be powered electrically. It is powered by the airpressure generated by the speaker(s) that are in the same airtight housing. So the sealant between the housing is not only to waterproof the electronics, but also necessary for this passive woofer to work. In the cheaper models I disassembled, the passive woofer even had a few grams of extra weight added to the conus. So the whole device would vibrate up&down with the lower frequencies. When placed on the hood or roof of a car, it will make the whole surface vibrate. This will sound like a subwoofer of at least 500watt inside the car is making these lower frequency sounds! "Gib mir die bassdrum noch lauder!!!"
any recommendation glue to attach the back, that is both cheap and useful that can fix it? because mine was dropped and the back split almost open from the seems of it so i am wondering what will work
i tried to disassemble my clip 4 and the front panel was secured with pins that were glued... when opening, most of them broke. dont think there was another way to go about it, though. Keep in mind when opening yours.
My Sony SRS-XB20 just failed. The charging port was on a floating PCB, only held in place by rubbery foam that it was wedged between. The floating PCB attached to the main board with a very flimsy ribbon cable. The ribbon cable would flex a little while interacting with the port. The ribbon cable seemed to fail from fatigue. The speaker will filled with flimsy wires and such. It was a horrible design that he put me off of Sony bluetooth speakers. This Clip 4 seems designed significantly better.
These are actually really garbage speakers cheap design cheap chassis cheap speaker they just put a big magnet on it and then everybody buys it because it has JBL for a name seriously the speakers are absolute garbage do not buy until they change their ways
It sounds so good for such small speaker, i thought it had at least a separate tweeter.. that one surprised me
Thanks for the video, i see what makes it loud and clear is the bass on the back cover.
I kept trying to return my Clip 4, but every time I played it, I realized how great it sounded. So I give up. This is a damn good mini speaker.

i love your electric screw driver... it sounds like dentist tools 😂❤💚💙

Smart! The first version didn’t have a passive radiator. I suspected this one did and now you’ve confirmed it for me
Noob here.
What's a passive radiator?
@@KREUZGRAD Well then. Had to read that a few times to pick it all up but I basically got it. I appreciate you taking the time to explain it.
@@iyeetsecurity922 for extending the bass and low frequency.
Your mic is so good that I freaked out for a sec when I heard a baby's voice at around 18:08 LOL
Pls mine is give a crackling sound. How do I go about it pls?

i always thought there was a back subwoofer and a front speaker for the mids and highs. Just how sound comes out of the thing.
Pero si lo tiene es un radiador pasivo el de atrás

E6000 glue would be perfect
What is that diaphragm on the inside of the back case? Appreciate you doing this video thank you.

Is there a default volume when you turn on the Bluetooth speaker, if there is what is it? Thanks Man.
It seems jlb go series and clip series the driver has same size but different watt only.

Thanks . Can I change more powerful battery? What type the battery?
Check this section it shows the battery type etc.. ruclips.net/video/hT-5a1iiowo/видео.html
What was the glue that you used in this video?
He probably confused the sealing rubber with glue lol

Nice video,I have one question thou, why did you use this low powered electrical toothbrush type of electric screwdriver in the first place?hahaha
Take it apart...Put it back together...Return it and say......I changed my mind!

Que es lo que le da los wats de potencia y se podría aumentar ?
Thank’s friend 👍👍

Could have us all 30 minutes by using the electric screw driver from the outset.
Quickest way to wear out a micro pen screwdriver? This. 😝

It has approved ,that once you tear up the JBL sepakers ,then after you cannot fix them for their factory sound signatures. Again Never open them
thanks
What kind of magnet JBL used ceramic or neo?
Time to teardown
I dropped mine and the charging port got messed up how can I replace it?
