Song is by Norwegian singer and songwriter Espen LInd. The original is With Espen Liond and Sissel Kyrkjebø. Search for it here on youtube. The original is the best !
Different, but rather nice version... Personally I prefer this song when it's a little rockier (especially the male's part), but Jenkins sounds good as usual.
(continued) I fail to see what her appeal is and if she had her own 'voice' instead of copying the hard work of others...I'd have more respect for her. Oh, and I prefer the orginal recording of this song with Sissel and Epsen Lind. The only good thing I can say about this version of the song is that Gardar Thor Cortes has a wonderful voice. =)
I have also found some interesting things. It seems Katherine is perhaps a fan of Sarah's music? She's done a few covers of music Sarah's done. Time To Say Goodbye, Canto Della Terra, Where The Lost Ones Go, etc. Interesting, but not much to bicker about, don't you think. However, I must say this. I feel that Jenkins is a much, much inferior singer to the established, versatile and highly skilled voice of Brightman.
Because she also sang this song? Look up "I Will Be With You Sarah Brightman" and you'll get a wealth of results. I personally think Sarah Brightman is much more skilled than Katherine Jenkins singing this song.
Yes, I am aware of Sarah Brightman doing covers. I like her covers simply due to the fact that she approaches them with a true artistic angle and that she makes them her own. KJ is nothing special - her voice is bland and boring - and if it weren't for her looks - she wouldn't have been given the largest "classical" recording contract in UK history. She was made famous by doing poor imitations of some of Sarah's signature songs such as "Time to Say Goodbye" and "Music of the Night"
These people before me are over critical, beautifully done song

In terms of how much I like the renditions...
1) Sarah Brightman
2) Sissel
3) Katherine Jenkins
Correction. This song came AFTER Sarah and Chris Thompson's version came. The person who should "look up some info" is you, dear.

*listens to it*
Oh god, make it stop!
*puts on Brightman/Thompson version and breathes a sigh of relief*
Is this Charlie Sheen?

You're right, his voice is nice... but Katherine disturbs me there...
Sarah Brightman is the best, wonderfull voice from the heaven!
Oooh, my bad! Still doesn't change my opinion of her though. She's boring! :)
Original of Sissel is best
So? I don't care what you think. KJ is copycat! NAH NAH NAH! Have a nice day!
Jenkins is off pitch and so is Cortes in parts, but his voice is great! She sounds like she's singing through a fan! Hate her vibrato!!!
Cute..., but NEVER compare to the the version of Sarah Brightman and Paul Stanley.
Okay, KJ REALLY needs to stop doing songs Sarah Brightman does. It's a tad fishy, if you ask me! but...that's just my opinion...
sarah brightman's version much more better. moreover i actually love sarah version. this sucks

Horrible! Can't she just write some own songs instead of copying everything and making the songs only worse?
