had the chance to play this game twice, we were 4 each time. We really enjoyed playing it. Being able to build up the ant hill and watching it complete in the end is very satisfying.
I get so irrationally excited when a game has a pass over as many tiles/cards as you want but leave some goodies on each one you pass mechanic. Can't explain it, but it makes me happy.
Judging by how they rated it, I presume this one gets a "Dice Tower Seal of Approval". However the seal icon/animation was not included at the end of the review. Can we get confirmation from The Dice Tower please?
Thanks for the review, gentlemen! The informality of the thumbs (simplicity?) is not bad, but I would, personally, LOVE to see a transition to a straight-up BGG-esque 0-10 rating system for Miami Dice. Would be more functional to viewers in parsing your opinions for these games, but that's just my opinion! :) Keep up the good work!
I disagree. I could care less whether or not they give number ratings. It takes something that is highly subjective (how much someone likes a game) and abstracts that fact to the point of insignificance. What I focus on is My Reaction to the rules summary and all the comments.
I think this game would have been more attractive if they went with a different theme. All the brown is just off putting for me and I'm not crazy about the box cover.
Well, bias can mean to prejudge, and in this case, I suppose someone could argue that Zee prejudged the game because of the designer. That is certainly possibly, but I'm not sure how anyone, even Zee, could know if he did that. It certainly appears that he just liked the game. Bias is often used as a negative, and I think we are in agreement here, is sort of a valueless word when applied to comment about someone's opinion. Much like "fanboy", and the like.
Nah, I don't think he was overly biased. To me a biased review would be someone who gives a game a good review just because if the designer without reason. He gave very good points as to why he likes it.

It’s great to listen to you guys talk through all the details of this game - thank you for another great video!
Reminds me a bit of a mechanism mix between Kingdomino and Majesty: For the Realm.

Reference Card = the score pad. I just give everyone a score sheet at the beginning so they know exactly what they're shooting for.
Zee gives 2 Bruno-Cathala-fanboy up
19:14... I //dig// it? Oh Zee.
Anyone know how many mm those soldier pieces are?
5:00 does he mean removed from the game or returned to the general supply?
This is a great game our family really enjoys.
This game is totally Bruno Cathala style ;)

Yes

Brandon Collins they do a 0-10 rating in their "week on review" section, check it out

Kingdomino+ sounds like a good description.
So Queendomino?

A positive is that it makes it really simple to see what's score-relevant on the tiles.
What is this! A game for ants? How can we be expected to teach children to learn how to play if they can’t even fit on the board?
+1 for the Zoolander reference
But why male models?
Matt Vucu is this game played clockwise or counterclockwise? Cause I am not an ambiturner... I can't play to the left 🤔
I'll stay with sultaniya much more colorful
This was weirdly tense
Tom seemed a bit distracted in this review
This SOUNDS very interesting and straightforward, but just looks ugly. Too much brown. Specially from a distance.
Weirdly reminds me of Stone Age
Zee bias zee bias zee bias
yep most bias review ive seen in a long time
You don't watch many reviews then
How can there be "bias" in a subjective review?!

Simmilar to Azul ... but I like Azul more.
Seems closer to Kingdomino than Azul.
How is this similar to Azul? :D
This is nothing at all like Azul. Not in any way shape or form. They don't even share a mechanism nor a scoring type. Hmmmmm
Almost a No Thanks feel.
Looks half-baked - design not fully thought through.
This game is a rip-off of Majesty: For The Realm
No. Not at all. For one thing, it was designed first. Secondly, they are VERY different games.
