Great stuff! Love the "old-school" video as well. Some of the super-old rides look twice as exciting as any contemporary thrill ride. Rode the Cyclone in 1988, staying in my seat & paying for multiple rides. It was rated #1 coaster by ACE at the time. The "original" hot dog didn't come close to the fresh street vendors at the time! Maybe I was sick from riding the coaster over and over. Ha! Was a great experience overall.

Will forever remember riding this 55 consecutive times during Astroland's pay on price promotion during the 70's..
I just rode it a few weeks ago on opening day. Aside from the Astroland branding the coaster still looks exactly like it does in this video.
A lot of these attractions couldn’t exist today. People would be suing left and right. Everybody’s a big baby today.
People now need diapers: can't handle the heat. I agree sir
I don’t know. I wedding on a roller coaster seems to me not a little trifling “ignant”? PWG
why was the weather in black and white that time?
The cyclone was good but not as good as the skyrocket or airplane coaster at that time.
Hey man do you know the name of the rollercoasters that the platform moves
Was there a rollercoaster that went around twice I was on one in the Late 1950s
