Using a q tip is a great idea

I had the idea after, and thought.. ya.. use a qtip.. Worked very well indeed here, Germaine. Thanks.

Would isopropyl alchohol be fine to use for cleaning your tools, instead of antibacterial soap?

I used anti soap and 3% peroxide after.

Thanks for the video. How long would you go with a baby hognose not eating before you assist feed? I imagine you would want to wait as long as possible as it seems like a stressful experience for your little friend.

@@Monkykungphu you’re welcome and correct. If the baby is a hatching and never has fed, I would wait 10-12 weeks, and that’s after all scents were offered, along with live pinks before assist feeding. I would not recommend assist feeding if the hognose has been established on ft pinks. There’s usually a reason why they are off feed, and 99% they will go back on.

I appreciate that you emphasized not to do this for already established sneks. 🫡

@@Sentinel_Serpents I think I would have too. Not healthy for a hoggie that is established on FT pinks
