You both looked relieved and happy to get to that one. Think I prefer up top and above rather than on the deck. I would have been paranoid about uncharted masts or power cables. They could really ruin the day. However it was a success, so was the better decision. Great vids.
That visability was just so dangerous but you kept your kalm and managed it well. This type of weather is a killer for both flex wing and light aircraft
Amazing navigation,Such poor visibility is challenging and you showed courage and focused, I thumbs you up guys, what a relieve to get into clear visibility again ! , An amazing video as always.i wish you safe skies and safe landings ahead.
Fantastic, gives us all confidence to fly in less than perfect conditions. BTW what are those attachments on your control bar? Hand muffs with a page of frequencies inserted?? If so where do you buy those. Love following your progress, cleelum Washington usa
Hi. They are Blue Sky Blue Bar Mits. You can put info inside and I write on them with a butchers pencil. I also have perspex inside mine to stop them folding up when you push your hands in. 😊
See what you mean about the poor viz! 😳😳😳 Bet you don’t read too much about flying in conditions like that in text books but you handled it like pros, and what a place to land to make it all worthwhile! 👌
Do you look back on the this video and think that was the correct decision? or do you think well we got away with it! Don’t get me wrong I loved the series of the videos this made me feel slightly uncomfortable.
There is always time to reflect after the event. Different people would do different things. But I stand by our decision to push on as we were closer to our destination airport and we new it was clear there. Our take off airport was maybe not clear!
Wow! The lack of visibility made my stomach tight with just watching! You pair certainly had your brave pants on 👏👏
Brave is one word for it Louise 😬
I was the same, just sat at the kitchen table! 😱

Thank you for your comment. It means the world 👍

Thank you for your kind comments 😊
Thanks so much, happy flying
Thanks, you too!
That's really scary being so low and the fog thickening, you could easily panic and make a mistake. Amazing at the vast areas of forest and lakes.
Landing out is just not an option Brian. youv'e just got to get on with it.👍

Some pretty poor viz that leg guys. You would certainly have been relieved to get back out into clear air. Well done!
Thanks Peter
