5:14 is the famous depiction of three brothers Kyi, Shchek, Khoryv(in this video clip they are metaphorically represented by the 3 soldiers) and their sister Lybid in the boat, sailing down the Dnipro River. According to the Primary Chronicle, they founded Kyiv which eventually became the capital of Kievan Rus' and present-day Ukraine. Btw, everything which started with the "Rus' " is actually Ukraine. During his reign, in the XVI century, Peter I renamed the kingdom of Muscovy into the kingdom of Rus', thus appropriating the name and the centuries-old history of present-day Ukraine. From there arose the confusion about who is who, and the famous rhetoric that Ukrainians and Russians are one people... So Kyiv is where the modern history of Ukraine began. It was founded in 482 (officially but most likely much earlier), and it's one of the oldest cities in Eastern Europe.
Thanks for that, everything makes complete sense now. I had looked into the ancient history also, but this still explains the general Russian psychology.
