@@ayotay9228 maybe the years are different and there is some differences in rotation. I thought miming was backwards at one point but the motor turns over GREAT!
@@juicer911 mines is a 05 when I go to kick it it’s not moving but when I take it apart it’s moving fine I think it’s in backwards guy said he (think it’s in backwards ) I have the same problem you had starter moves when you kick it
Got a 08 wrf450 the other day, my starter's output shaft has gears sheared off. hopefully it's a simple replacement and she works well.

What size fly wheel puller did you use I tried using a 33 but it won’t work
I believe mine was a 33 as well. Right hand. Make sure you have a right instead of a left-hand thread.
I have this problem when i kick it it turls the starter. What did fix it for you? New one way bearing?

Opened mines up and my gear is moving a different way then yours is it in wrong ?
Does it move both ways? It should not.

Mine did the same, it shreaded the shaft teeth on the starter

You need a starter clutch. That's all.
