I served a mission for the LDS of Jesus Christ Church myself. I had people tell me “you’re just a dumb 18 yr old that doesn’t know what you’re talking about”. There’s this ignorant naivety atmosphere others have thrown onto LDS missionaries, as well as being gay, like the Book of Mormon Musical, but the truth is missionaries are people just like we all are. I hope they really humanize these sisters and show they are intelligent and really are believing and escape. And not go with the predictable in the end, they lose faith, or never had faith, naive, ignorant, etc. I also hope they show perhaps other religious victims in the maze otherwise it would seem like targeting LDS.
I’m a fan of Hugh. He’s been branching out. As a oompa-loompa as well 😂 he was awesome. I agree haunt was very fun. This has some similar traits to haunt being stuck in a house with nightmares all around
As someone else mentioned, it’s reminiscent of a couple of hours I spent once from Jehovah Witnesses, though it didn’t result in this very frightening visit. They were actually very pleasant and friendly. I really like Hugh Grant and I will most likely see this film. It looks creepy and if he’s in it, this will probably be really good.
Haunt really is an underrated gem! I watch it every year around Halloween. I think I saw Clown by Eli Roth. Is that where he couldn’t take off his costume? Time for a rewatch bc I don’t really remember it.

It looks good. From the set, the vilain, to the concept like a saw with faith test about religion. It has "Tusk" vibes too. Creepy.
Hugh Grant is underrated IMO. This looks really good, and A24 never disappoints.
