Great tip! I thought about mentioning that, but I stuck to record/cylinder tips. I'll throw that in next time, or perhaps when I do a record sleeve video.
WOW! I don’t know how I missed this one? I never thought about adding a penny to my bid, I just did even numbers! I’ll know that for future auctions. Thanks for the great tips.
I hope you pick up something by adding the extra penny! : ) In all seriousness, that one (cent) thing will result in a few records heading your way over time. That, and the fact I put a minimum bid on dozens of records just in case they slip through the cracks are about the best bits of advice I can give about Nauck's.
Grouchy old people at your service! Hey there. I think I remember watching you unbox your auction winnings on camera in the past. If you do that again, let me know. It's fun watching people unbox their winnings and finds.
I’ve known about Nauck’s auctions for probably more than 20 years at this point… never bid in one! Not for lack of desire so much as lack of funds for anything in them! Always seemed to be some real droolworthy pieces in them though, maybe someday
There are a LOT of good records with $3 opening bids. I have picked up a few things that slipped through the cracks over the years. : ) (It doesn't happen a lot, but it happens.
Another good tip - order Disk-O-File sleeves after an auction to ship with your winnings to save a bit on shipping costs.

Great 78 rpm market overview! Very educational and informative.
Solid advice!

@@MarkAtnip even though, I was late in finding your channel. I did place well over 60 bids, mostly minimum bids. In this current auction.
"Grouchy Old People" LOL! Lots of great tips!!

If only I could afford to bid on anything at all...

@@MarkAtnip I literally have ZERO money available for this stuff, or for anything else. But I can wish...
