Did you attach the uppers to the lowers? Also, do you find yourself using thin felt tape or anything under those uppers as you install (as to not scratch the countertop)?
The uppers are attached to the wall but not the counter top. I typically put down a moving blanket to put them up, then lift up and remove the blanket once I have it close. This is if I don’t have help with me.
Yep pre finished plywood is the way to go. I remember trying to clear coat unfinished plywood years ago and once I found out about pre finished plywood there was no going back lol 😂 it really saves a step and money.
@@NolanBuilt I see that’s a game changer thanks for the reply very Disappointed with mosaik so far still waiting on a Code since last nice I was hoping to start designing my laundry room this weekend 😡🤦🏽♂️
Yes I had to cut it in, but the were with 1/8 over 25 inches. So instead of scribing, I took measurements the slight angle. I got it within a 16th and then split the difference on both sides.
Odd question …. You can not reply if it’s too private of a question but how much would did you charge for something like that me personally would range it at $3700 With material being about $1300 .
Excited to be a new subscriber, Nolan. Great vids and excited to get rolling with Mozaik!

@NolanBuilt makes perfect sense, thanks for the reply! I'm about to quit IT and apply my geekiness to cabinet making. Taking inspiration from you sir!
@ congratulations 🍾🎊
I'm new to cabinetry, how are you scribing in and attaching the filler strips on the sides?
I use the u scribe jig then cut to the line.
Great video
Are you using pre finished plywood? I’m hoping to upgrade my 24x48 cnc to a phantom like yours in the future 😍👍🏾

how long did it take you to do the whole job?
2 week in the shop and one week on job site.
Looks great! Did you need to scribe the counter top or was everything nice and square?

Great video! Did you prime over pre finished plywood?
Yes but sanded it back first.
Nice, I bet that gives it a great finish. How do you like the phantom? I’ve wanted a cnc for so long. Jealous! Haha
@@johnathankeller1948 thanks! It does leave a really nice finish. I love the phantom. One of the best purchases I’ve made for the business!
