Good video but just so you're aware, at 0:35 the reason you don't see a stat change would be because your character does not hold the weapon in that screen. With the magic damage substat you're right but if you had a different substat that would update on the stats page you wouldn't see it there either until you equip the item in-game.
the basic calculation not considering body parts hit or damage reduction is as follows. in the example below im using +30 additional magic damage with the burn duration perk, with a zap hit. while considering 0% resistance and 0% increased magic damage. initial hit of spell (Base+added)x(multipliers to damage)=total damage (20+30)x1.00=50 burn damage of spell with the extra duration burn perk ((Base+added)x(multipliers to damage))/(duration of burn)=(Burn damage per sec)x(duration of burn)= Total Damage of burn ((1+30)x1.05)/1=32.55x(1+2.5)=113.92 damage burn over the full duration 113.92+50=163.92 damage from 1 zap over 3.5 secs for fireball splash damage with the same criteria the calculation is as follows. (10+30)x1.05=42 splash damage ((2+30)x1.05)/2=16.8x(2+2.5)=75.6 damage burn over the full duration 42+75.6=117.6 damage from splash fireball over 4.5 sec Personally I think the damage you get with only +30 additional magic damage is just way to much. considering wizard can just get +3 additional magic damage (the average roll) on every piece of green gear and one shot any class in the game.
Great content. I’m in love with this game like everyone else and I also am trying to learn video editing to make content on this game. Thought the video was good. I wouldn’t be surprised if the wizard double hit on fireball is a bug. That’s why wizards can basically one shot people with fireball.
Nice video, so do you think the bonus damage stacks so ignite would normally buff it by 5 but if I had like a plus 3 book it would do plus 8 in addition to the plus 3 on the spell that I'm using such as zap so it would be 28 default plus 3 from book plus 5 from ignite plus 3 from book buffing ignite for a total of 39 because I used a white plus 3 book and ignite.
And I imagine this would stack for all other plus maj damage stuff like if I had maj damage pants or if I'm using ball and dagger I have both equipped I can have a plus maj damage dagger and plus maj damage ball to absolutely maximize the damage because I got 1 shot by a zap while on ranger
Is there anyway to practice damage at the dummy besides waiting in the bar lobby before a game? I'm always loaded into a game in like 5 seconds so I can't explore the bar lobby
Not really. I had to change to the Seoul server just because it was low enough pop to get a minute. I spent about 3 hours trying to get footage on the NA servers before then.
Keep doing more content. Don't worry if your videos aren't flawless masterpieces of cinema, that's not why we're here.
Thanks for the motivation! I'm planning on making one too showcase the magic damage bonus on the crystal sword.

great video keep adding value to the community
Thanks! I'll do my best!
This was amazing answered a good amount of questions cant wait to see more from you
great video! thank you for showing the where to find the stats too!
Very informative! Ty. Only thing I critique is the white noise in the background of the audio. Not a big deal, but its a turn off for some

initial hit of spell
(Base+added)x(multipliers to damage)=total damage
(20+30)x1.00=50
burn damage of spell with the extra duration burn perk
((Base+added)x(multipliers to damage))/(duration of burn)=(Burn damage per sec)x(duration of burn)= Total Damage of burn
((1+30)x1.05)/1=32.55x(1+2.5)=113.92 damage burn over the full duration

Bro why are u commenting this on multiple videos, zap doesn't get increased burn duration, it's literally a light spell not a fire spell
@@nltiro3387this dude is just making stuff up lmao

Yeah the ignite damage and burn are both affected by +damage And bonus%
Ignite doesnt affect spells anymore
Does ignite bonus damage apply to any of the spells like magic missle or fireball?
Nope. It did in the last playtest (or the one before) but was removed as a bug.
That was the piece of information I was coming here for, thank you!
Thanks!!
a fellow Trigun enjoyer I see.
A true inspiration to all
thanks, saved a lot of time! some spells are actually better than i though they are, huh
Spark is actually pretty amazing in PvP since it's such as fast cast. Jump just before casting to maintain speed and kite all the melee classes.
@@JaktheStampede26 thanks for the tip!
