Glad I helped. I can't remember if the instructions were even the correct instructions. A lot of times they use the old mold instead of the new one for the instructions

I currently have the option for a reissue MP-11 and this, a TRU exclusive. The determining factor for me is the quality problem on the loose torso on pretty much all the Seeker moulds. And from this video the TRU one is definitely the better pick for me, as I don't really care for the coronation set. Thx for the review
I'll probably end up getting one of these new Starscream's Thanks to seeing this video. I didn't realize how much they improved the figure so Thank You TMan978 for this review to help me make my decision.

I just grabbed the takara version (coronation set) and he has the same issue with the waist not tabbing in. Yours looks so solid. I’m tempted to get a hasbro version as well to use as the bit mode and leave the takara in alt mode, but I heard the hasbro version can still experience the same trouble with the waist tab
I just picked mine up last Sunday.... they had a case(3 to a box)in the back....brought the box out and let me pick the best box available.... now you can't find these in stores.

Hey bro, i just notice on the bot mode, are they just pieces to keep his hands in their place or they have a different function. Check in the inner part of his forearm, a dark gray or gun metal gray pieces. Which group are we in together? The gray piece in his forearm is really just nothing. Its extra molding to fill his arm out when it transforms. Instead of painting it blue they left it gray which makes it stand out. When you tell me what group I can post a picture there.

That blue nosecone really should've been on the TakaraTomy Thundercracker. Is it the same shade of blue? If they were going for 'toon accuracy I have no idea why they gave Thundercracker the black nosecone.

Kos are better than all of these.if I get a bad ko I say damn this thing sucks, it's like official quality

This mold is dated and messy. The seekers need a 3rd party to update them MP style.

Thanks for mentioning the improvements! I've always been a bit dissatisfied with the seeker designs for being so easily unhinged in the chest/torso area. I went looking for reviews on this guy specifically to see if they addressed those issues - happy to see they did! Thanks for a really in-depth review!

You've got a nice flow keep it up !! I'm old school myself and never though I'd see these guys redone so well in the future . It's good to see this line doing so well now let's try to keep those prices reasonable though the oversees ones are just insanely pricey I would never pick those up myself. Cool review, very thorough. I found my Bluestreak on clearance at my local Toys R Us for $9.90!!! I picked it up right away just for the price and was impressed with it. I keep hoping I'll get lucky again and find other Masterpiece figures on clearance. I'm not sure if they are really behind or what. But I spoke to some employees before about their stock and they said they don't even know what comes in on the trucks ahead of time.

Ah, okay. That Grimlock looks cool too. I'm really impressed with the look of the Masterpiece figures. They did an overall good job making them look like the 80s cartoon.

Nice video. Just so all know. The head should be pushed on the sides when you transform him, then it will go right thrue the hole.
Not a bad Hasbro G1 toy-accurate Starscream, but his eyes are not yellow and his Decepticon logos are not downside up.

i almost got the 200 dollar one...then i found this one at Toys R us when i was getting blue streak. would love them to reissue thundercraker and sky warp at the same price.

I've got Takara SS and SW, and Hasbro SS and TC. I keep Takara/(Binaltech- I see it this way too) in jet mode while the others in bot modes. I've been debating on this new Screamer. Paint is great, no side skirts, and better tightness. I hate that I have two other SSs, when will they give us coneheads instead. Feeling like combiner wars again. Repaint, retool, repeat.

Do you think this is worth the $150-$200+ on the aftermarket now? This looks to be the definitive Starscream to get.
I'm still irritated at the scalpers for cleaning out the stores even after all this time, almost a year later now, lol.
I just can't seem to pull the trigger at the current price point, I love the fig, but over 100% mark-up bugs the hell out of me. lol

Well, he just had to show up really. Teamwork makes the dream work. Get a local buddy to shop when you can't. Stay in the store every day and early as possible

Stop checking online and go into the stores. A friend of mine found it in a local store and bought it for me. Pro Tip, once you hear a figure has been released in the wild, you pretty much have to be at the store daily and early. Everybody can't do that but that's the best way if it's not available online anymore.
+TMan978 Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, I only live near a TRU Express in an outlet mall and they don't usually get these in stock. So going to a 'real' TRU store is a few hours of driving. Which I would totally do, I just don't have time. My only hope is the online store.

+TMan978 Well, I took the plunge. And 2 hours later I have my Starscream! He's great and I'm glad I got him!
sooo...it's a thundercracker repaint. acid storm and sunstorm seemed cheap.
They're all the same mold. Hasbro apparently figured out what they need to do to make the mold tighter. My Thundercracker doesn't stay together as tight as the Starscream.

MEEEEH .. i think the takara mp 3 version (yes te dark green one) is way better than this..
this looks more like an actual toy.. sure the color is series accurate.. i like that.. but it really looks like a cheap toy to me.. like when you were shaking that thing.. it is a soulless piece of toy..
The Mp 3 one looks more "majestic" .. call me stupid.. i dont mind .. in my opinion the mp 3 looks amazing..
BECAUSE OF THE WING TAIL SKIRTS!! gives him a more dynamic and realistic look..
Again i do not take this an a personal offense.. its just a matter of taste..
You know what you should do? Save up some money and buy the original green one. Then your life will be happy. Just don't break it because it's easy to break
