    You are SO RIGHT about stellar customer service. I got a 5 star review from a person who received a defective product solely based on customer service alone.

      Yup, customer service is sooooooo important. Glad you got a 5 star 🙂

    Long Game!! Yes. Right now I am seasoning a new iron skillet. Much like how you describe Etsy. It doesn't happen over night. A process for sure. Thanks, Scott.

    Customers still MUST sign up to be on your email list! This "gathering" is not done by the seller, only with consent by the customer (& they have to be bright enough to figure out confirmation or AWeber will reject them.

    • @brandcreators
      @brandcreators  Год назад +2

      Maybe so, but there are 30 to 40% of people that are finding the email and confirming. At least they are for us 🙂

    I love your videos! They’ve been very helpful. I typically don’t like or comment on videos, but as a hip hop head sprinkling in that Notorious BIG clip made me smile. 😊 Thanks for all the helpful content.

    Should there be a particular amount of products on your shop before running Etsy ads. I was going to open my shop and upload 1 product a day. Do I wait until the shop has a few products?

    • @brandcreators

      We run ads ASAP! One product is a great place to start.

    Hey Scott! I've been watching all your Etsy vids and they are great! I love your approach about having a brand rather than having tshirts in a million niches. Question regarding a niche...would you consider the cowgirl/country/western/country music a niche? That's who I'm most interested in creating items for but worried its maybe still too broad. If so, any tips on niching that area down more? Thanks!

    • @brandcreators
      @brandcreators  Год назад

      Thanks for watching my videos. I’m glad that they have been helpful. Yes I think those would be great niches to be able to consolidate and bring into one broader niche so this way here you can have multiple products to serve multiple people in different areas of the niche. Good luck and keep me posted :-)

      @@brandcreators Thanks Scott! I've struggled with research. When you do a search in Etsy, what is the minimum amount of searches would you say for a product to be worth making. If everbee is saying it gets 30 searches a month, is this too small a number to be worth making? Thanks!!

    • @brandcreators
      @brandcreators  Год назад +1

      @@josieanne8670 I wouldn't base my decision on keyword search numbers in any tool. I would use the sales numbers and the views that Everbee says it's getting. Also I would look at a products and see how many favorites it has gotten in the past for further validation.

    Where do you get inspiration for design ideas for your niche?

    • @brandcreators
      @brandcreators  Год назад

      We usually get design ideas from what is being purchased in the niche and then draw inspiration. We also see on other platforms like Amazon what our customers are looking for and buying. Hope that helps

    Do you have info on what can and can't be reproduced in order to obey all copy right and rules on sites like etsy/amazon etc? Obviously someone can't own a statement about loving their pet/best mom/parenting etc...but I would think aspects of stealing an idea would be frowned upon?

    • @brandcreators

      The best thing to do is research the saying or design for current trademarks. USPTO is a great resource for that.

      I may in the future, but right now I have so many other topics that need to be addressed for on the Etsy platform 🙂But, I'll consider it in the future.
