Location: Scadutree Base
Difficulty: 3/10
Strategy: Scadutree Avatar is a multi-boss consisting of 3 flowers. They have very little health and die in a few hits. Shoot the flower head with Great Glintstone Shard spells. Avoid its attacks by rolling to the side constantly when it attacks. It deals bleed damage, so avoid letting the bleed status reach the maximum. After one flower is destroyed another spawns. After the third boss the fight is finished (so in total it has 3 health bars and spawns a new flower each round). You can also summon your Mimic Tear to distract the boss.
Reward: 260,000 Runes, Miquella's Great Rune x1, Remembrance of the Shadow Sunflower

Three phases threw me for a loop. It’s a little ridiculous and became a battle of attrition

man doing this with magic looks so much easier, took me a good few tries with swords
I was having difficulty until I luckily happened to hit its head with a fire spell, it did a weirdly large amount of damage and I immediately switched to a fire-aspect sword lol

Once you kill him the 1st and 2nd time you can riposte them in the head while there dying and knock off a little bit of there hp for the next phase
This actually helped me :)

My fav boss so far honestly. Quite easy but I liked the dynamic phases and the telegraphed attacks with DS2 amounts of breathing room.
I havent even really attempted messmer or bayle yet, tho. Just got slaughtered by them and moved on lol.
I think you fight this tree thing in the way exactly like how you fought midir: hitting its head and trying to stay in front of it instead of staying under its body

All i think when i see this boss, is how much the water around it must taste like peanut butter, and how it must smell like peanut butter,
I have no idea why, but the arena looks delicious
I feel like it would smell like a cross between that instensely earthy, musky soil smell you find in an outdoor section of Home Depot or Lowes, in combination with the dank, sour smell of dried beer and peanuts at the bottom of some sports stadium seats.
And now I’m thinking of a Peanut Butter Stack. And now I’m hungry. Dammit.

I got here right after lion boss at themstart with 5 blessing on ng4 with ultragreatsword yeah he took me 2 hours to beat
Took me a solid 1.5 hours with a normal game, level 150 +5 Scadurtree upgrade. This boss is just ridiculously hard. Was fun though, even with it‘s inconsistencies.

Level 5 blessing is a joke.
This guy is supposed to be fought at blessing lvl 13-14.
He's literally the easiest boss in the game and has no HP.

I disagree with everyone and this was one of the best boss fight in the dlc. Not in terms of difficulty or animation but just the whole beauty of it all. Here you are fighting this sacred and important being that just refuses to die. In the 3rd phase it's weak and dying, it can barely even attack you yet it still fights and the music becomes really slow and sad...like here you are killing something that shouldn't die.

This isnt to hard but they had over a year to make this dlc and came up with this reviewed it and were like "yeah this shits fire" at least bayle, messmer and rellana had good design they were hard but good
Playing as a caster is the only way to actually view the beauty of the game. Otherwise it’s Miyazaki feet fetish fights like dragons
