I like the foreclosure home providing those pictures matches what's in house. If you can afford to fix it to your taste. Be remindful apt., homes you are sharing walls with other home owner. If you're still looking for a home? Driving around a neighborhood that you show interest, go in the morning then go back in the after noon, go back there when people are getting home from work. Check the neighborhood again on the weekends. This way you can make up your mind.
The first house was absolutely beautiful. But you’re doing the right thing, looking for the best option and taking your time, because you have to keep in mind the school in the area for your son. But the first house was amazing and also the neighborhood. Good luck Eric
Eric Evolving . That’s good, you never know, with the way the economy is right now, you may even get a great deal for your money. I’m still going to move to Tampa, at first I was looking for apartments, but now I’m looking at homes for sale. Keep us posted. Please? Good luck
Hey Eric, is great that you are considering buying a house. Don't know if you heard of this lady before, but on the research I'm doing about tampa and buying houses I found the RUclips channel Melanie Loves Tampa. She is a realtor and she has a lot of good information when it comes to buying a house. On one of her videos she talked about the process and she said something very interesting that makes a lot of sense. When you're going to buy a house you should get an independent home inspector, just to make sure that everything in the house is correct. You don't want to sign and then be surprised by things that are not working the way they should. Just an advice that I believe is very important when it comes to buying a house, regardless if it's a new construction or one that is already built. Good luck! I wish you the best, and may you find the one that's perfect for you and your fam! Happy Father's day!!
Just found you and really appreciate your videos! As a fellow NY’er making the move these are so informative and great. We already know where we want to build, curious to watch this and see where you choose! Good luck!!
Eric Evolving we are going to build in Bexley, right by Asturia. We also liked Starkey Ranch, but prefer a builder that is only in Bexley. I think you will do great no matter what you decide. It’s a far cry from what you would get with the same $$ in NY. You and your son will have a great life.
If the interior photos are accurate, I'd purchase the house in land o lakes for the instant equity as the homes in that area are all in the 300k+ range.
So I'm living vicariously though you. My advise/questions for are: HOA's? Sometimes that fee is a killer. Also for #2, do you really want to be on a main road? I lived off a main once down the road from a gas tank farm. Everyday the trucks would come through and not want to stop at the lights so they'd use their "Jake" brake. Not something you want to hear 10am on a Sunday. Also think about house/lot size. You have to take care of that stuff. Good luck!!!!
All great points. I like the HOA because that usually means some amenities, pool etc and the neighborhood is usually kept well but will have to keep that in mind.
I feel like I’m one year behind everything that you do. And this gives something to look forward to as the next step next year! Haha Good luck in finding the perfect home! Can’t wait to get to this exciting stage. 😊
Thanks for sharing. Definitely continue putting out these house hunting videos. Also, if you get a chance to get some actual video inside the homes, that would be great to see. God luck with your search.
Thank you for the videos!!! The last one is absolutely and NO!!! The other two are good. I like the first one, you get more bang for you buck in Riverview. I will be looking at homes in Wesley Chapel and Riverview next week. I wish you much luck!
Good luck Kandi... I will be visiting the Wesley Chapel area as well. Riverview schools are not the best and I like being north of the city now but who knows.
I love the video! I thought you liked the Brandon & Riverview areas. I noticed the pricing on the townhomes are great, but the school district not so much. I was researching Riverview because it's near an amazing YMCA called Spurlino. If your in the area looking at homes, drive by and check out Spurlino. The YMCA has summer camps that I think your son would love, my son attends YMCA camps and it keeps him busy. Google that place, their outdoor pools & slides looks amazing. I also researched Tampa Palms for apts.; this area pricing looks better and so does the school district. The Boy's & Girl's Club +library + YMCA is in close proximity as well.
Hey friend, I was actually doing the same thing a couple of weeks ago in Riverview. I really liked it out there but you're right about the schools. I passed by Brandon but not long enough to check anything out. Maybe I'll head back out next month. Also still keeping Citrus Park in mind. With everything going on, my son might just be homeschooled for the first part of the year. Blessings
Wow! You went to Riverview and didnt even let me know!? Its a nice area with lots of affordable houses. Citrus Park houses are little more expensive and are mostly older homes. Good luck on your search.
Hey Eric, I like house #1. It looks new but what's up with the houses being too close together? House #2 is nice and a great price. House #3 oh hell no!! That neighborhood looked sketchy. I've heard from many that East Tampa is hood and lots of crime. Keep looking around, you'll find something. Good luck!
Asturia is where my realtor lives and loves it! I think you are in a good time actually to buy. Interest rates are good and remember to get a GOOD realtor. They can advocate for you and most of the time, you can get majority of your closing cost covered by the builders with a new construction home. The first house is the best in my opinion lol Happy house hunting and God bless!
Have you looked into Wesley Chapel (north of the city), or Riverview homes? Check the epperson community in Wesley Chapel though. I'm looking into there as well.
Hey, Eric. House one seems to have incredible amenities, must put that in the equation, too (like gym cost). And #2 feels like a place to stay and watch the family grow. I'd check out the financial matters first, and once I have that figured out, drive around House hunting knowing that if I find something I like, I can afford it 😉. Saludos, amigo.
Love that you passed by Odessa, was looking at houses there and the fact that you drove by there was awesome, I thought it was more rural in pics, what where you thoughts on Odessa is it more rural or more suburbs? I'm from Nyc queens btw. Thanks for your Vids. The only thing holding me up is services for kids. My daughter has an IEP and heard Florida sucks for kids that needs services.
Odessa has stores and shops within 2-3 miles so it's rural but not country! If that makes sense lol. The area is developing fast as well. I passed another community called Bexley on the way there, so that area will have a lot more stuff in the near future.
The foreclosure one looks good. Being a corner lot the taxes as my wife and I have seen while looking in the Tampa Bay area are usually more. So there is that. I would see how bike riding friendly they are since you and young Eric ride. Also how pet friendly if you eventually want a dog. Best of luck on your search.
I am retired and thinking about moving to Florida in about a year. I ‘m looking for new home constructions in a safe and diverse area. I saw one of your videos and you mentioned Wesley Chapel as the place to be for diversity. Are there any other places that you would recommend?
Hey Eric... I've looked into the lutz area because of the schools (A1). Home prices there start at 250.000 and the home communities are amazing. I would love for you to take us there. Make sure that you join a home buying assistance program to help with closing down payment and closing cost. FHA loan would be the best loan to obtain. PS. stay out of that last neighborhood you visited with out a full tank of gas. 🤣
R House if you decide to move there, come back and let us know what you think. Make sure to look into the builders for your home. Some of these builders do a rush job on these houses and you can be left with a real problem. If you can ask your neighbors before you buy if there any problems with their homes.
Hey Eric: how are you, I don’t know if you remember me, I’m Ray we’ve spoken briefly on your site. I’m the person who spoke about retiring and moving to tampa. Anyway I was just watching your videos by the way just to let you know I watch all your videos and they are very good by the way. on buying a home did you consider riverview remember you check it out when you were apartment hunting then you choose citrus park I don’t know if you remembered that. Anyway you should check it out for buying a home. It’s a nice area and the community is great. You should also check out home by westbay they have move in homes already build just helping out. No I’m not affiliated with theme, and know I don’t work for theme either. I’m definitely going to buy a home with theme if God willing for me to get down there. Anyway just keep up the good work like you always do because your helping a lot of people with your thoughts and ideas for anyone to move to Florida. Thank you again for all you do.
Hey Reinaldos I remember I really like the Riverview area for home prices and access to everything but the school ratings are not the best so im weighing my options but I will be checking out that area.
Thank you.... Rates are low right now too, that might start going up when the prices start dropping. Have to see what makes sense cause with my lease for me... Thank you!!!
None!!🤪 ..... see, Just because you get approved for $250,000 do not max out because you have to include all of your other bills in that price. I was approved for $257,000 in 2009 when the market crashed. I was patient during the process and I found a beautiful three bedroom house for $90,000, in foreclosure, in a great neighborhood. (I stay in my lane I do not try and live like the Jones’s)Maybe you should look in the $150,000 range Or maybe even lower. You must live comfortable not stressful. Just my opinion buddy
Hey Patricia... You are quite savvy to get such an amazing deal - great job. I based the $250k off my current bills didnt get approved for that 😂. I totally understand what you mean, I am always conservative, I will make a good decision 🙂

@@msansolo1 you made a great choice. My neighbor just closed on his house at Bexley. Looks really nice with the stores at the front
Eric Evolving havent been there in almost a year but I know they were building up a lot around there. I think that whole area is a good location.
@@msansolo1 i may try to include a video of it soon so you can see it. It's great!
Good luck E...love the new music 🎶
Thank you!!!!
I’m definitely gonna have to do some driving around to survey the neighborhoods.
