You were very informative and this video was tastefully and amazingly well done! Your educating people and sharing your knowledge! I believe that your videos are going to save peoples lives! The way this world is headed and what is comming for those of us that will oppose it!! I value all of the time and the effort you have put into making all your videos and I have definitely learned alot from watching them!! So thanks again and God Bless!!
Happy Memorial day! Thank you for your sacrifice. My dad served in Vietnam so I know the struggle from a different perspective. I thank God for putting you on earth for our protection. Your wisdom is invaluable. Keep leading the good cause brother
Love this! Thanks for sharing how you prepare personally for the dispatch. I also appreciate you explaining the parts and cuts. Definitely feeling like I could do this one day!
Sarge like the respect you pay to the animals in your care. That you take for food. Also for your friends who are still serving. And those that defend the pearly gates. Whom we all miss. A beer and a shot in all thier memories.
The hardest part of life is death. As things are in nature, one life must pass to continue another. You are very right that in nature vs a proper homestead, things would be much uglier. To say the least. Thank God for the blessings of life. And thank you for the heart with in you to feel remorse from the taking of one of his gifts to us. Enjoy a fine meal, the fruits of your labor. And a big thank you for your service to our country and the Lord.
14 is a ton of meat; its hard but its life indeed. I havn't dressed out a rabbit since last summer. Must of felt good though looking at all that meat in the freezer afterward, so many meals. I never did replicate Chad's method of pulling the tail and removing the pellets at the same time which negates the need to crack into the pelvis. Clever chap. Nice work man.
Ya, plenty of meat for sure. I thought i did a video on that honestly, ill have to check my private vids and see if i took it down. No tools used, all hands. Chad is a smart dude. Thanks bro
Thank Bro, haven't done that in many many years, my Mom and I clean many of rabbits on them cold winter evenings after my Dad and I would hunt all day.
What ! I'm a farmer , of sorts. Killing is the hardest part. But animals ( in my humble opinion) are not here to be our food. That sounds like some western religious BS. I'm a omnivore. I eat meat. I'm honest about it. I take care of my animals as best as I can. But when the time comes as it always does I do what I have to do. They would get on just fine without me eating them.
Hi my mom grew up on a homestead. So she understood that some of the animal's were for work and pet's. Others for food. So the people who hate should think about the dear stake they are eating they bought at the supermarket. Don't always have a good life even if it dose say free range. So block the haters 👍
Yeah you tried to never get close to any of the animals but it happened, still you had to do it, there is no fun in it, it was your food source and I'm not a vegetarian. Thanks for sharing your skills. Looks like a beautiful day to be out.
I TELL FRIENDS ALL THE TIME, GROCERY STORE MEAT COMES FROM ABUSED ANIMALS. IF YOU'RE REALLY A HUMANITARIAN ANIMAL LOVER, YOU'D HUNT/BREED YOUR OWN MEAT!! BUT NO, HUNTING IS "SAVAGE".
I think people would have more respect for meat if they had to kill it themselves. Thanks for the video.. I didn't think the lighting was too bad brother
I personally think that it should be hard to take a life of an animal. It should never become easy I RESPECT your honesty About it being hard I don’t use a string I use my knee and push down and pull on the back legs to break the neck that string is Not needed.
More than ever we need to give thanks and praise to God, and thanks for showing this way of life, we may all need to be a part of daily.
Great job you did in this video very respectful of the rabbits lives. Enjoy your videos very much.

Awesome. Its part of raising your own food. No one likes to see them go. Mr. Rea would be proud of you!
Yep! I have his book so going to try out some of his recipes
Great video man, I would like to get some education in this.
Do you vacuum seal them or how do you store them?
double plastic wrap and a freezer bag
Hard day for sure, but done very respectfully and professionally. Better lives than most factory farmed livestock.
U vaccum seal or just ziplock? U add anything 2 preserve or just straight up?
Double plastic wrap and then a freezer bag. I dont add anything
@@sargefaria thanks.
Good video sarge. Compassion for life is never missed placed, but they are here for our food

The part of self reliance most people can't get there head around.
Indeed bud
Bs had a great shot at another cup this season. We'll see what happens
Fanaly rabbit stew..
HAHA
Ever since trapping squirrels with rat traps as a kid up til now ive always felt guilt taking their lives still do even with fish i catch..
I think people would have more respect for meat if they had to kill it themselves.

No, it's no big deal. If you can't kill it, then you don't deserve to eat it. Period.....
I agree..most people eat meat. So they shouldn't get sore.
Damn thats alot of skins what you do whit them .trow them away....is bn like 8..9 years sense i had rabbit .i had squirrel..👌..
Yes, unfortunately they are too immature to do anything with really.
Here in texas is eligal to kill enithing .i can yes but in the dawn low ..but mostly is animal cruelty..we will wait for what ever you do
Go to the supermarket and pay someone to do your dirty work for you..
If it hurts you to kill the animals that you have on your homestead its simple don't do it.
