    Sarge like the respect you pay to the animals in your care. That you take for food. Also for your friends who are still serving. And those that defend the pearly gates. Whom we all miss. A beer and a shot in all thier memories.

    The hardest part of life is death. As things are in nature, one life must pass to continue another. You are very right that in nature vs a proper homestead, things would be much uglier. To say the least. Thank God for the blessings of life. And thank you for the heart with in you to feel remorse from the taking of one of his gifts to us. Enjoy a fine meal, the fruits of your labor. And a big thank you for your service to our country and the Lord.

    14 is a ton of meat; its hard but its life indeed. I havn't dressed out a rabbit since last summer. Must of felt good though looking at all that meat in the freezer afterward, so many meals. I never did replicate Chad's method of pulling the tail and removing the pellets at the same time which negates the need to crack into the pelvis. Clever chap. Nice work man.

      Ya, plenty of meat for sure. I thought i did a video on that honestly, ill have to check my private vids and see if i took it down. No tools used, all hands. Chad is a smart dude. Thanks bro

      What ! I'm a farmer , of sorts. Killing is the hardest part. But animals ( in my humble opinion) are not here to be our food. That sounds like some western religious BS. I'm a omnivore. I eat meat. I'm honest about it. I take care of my animals as best as I can. But when the time comes as it always does I do what I have to do. They would get on just fine without me eating them.

    Hi my mom grew up on a homestead. So she understood that some of the animal's were for work and pet's. Others for food. So the people who hate should think about the dear stake they are eating they bought at the supermarket. Don't always have a good life even if it dose say free range. So block the haters 👍

    Yeah you tried to never get close to any of the animals but it happened, still you had to do it, there is no fun in it, it was your food source and I'm not a vegetarian. Thanks for sharing your skills. Looks like a beautiful day to be out.

    I TELL FRIENDS ALL THE TIME, GROCERY STORE MEAT COMES FROM ABUSED ANIMALS. IF YOU'RE REALLY A HUMANITARIAN ANIMAL LOVER, YOU'D HUNT/BREED YOUR OWN MEAT!! BUT NO, HUNTING IS "SAVAGE".

    I personally think that it should be hard to take a life of an animal. It should never become easy I RESPECT your honesty
    About it being hard I don’t use a string I use my knee and push down and pull on the back legs to break the neck that string is
    Not needed.

  • @nomad90125
    @nomad90125 4 года назад +1

    No, it's no big deal. If you can't kill it, then you don't deserve to eat it. Period.....

    If it hurts you to kill the animals that you have on your homestead its simple don't do it.
