Terrific video! I LOVE brasstrains! I'm a registered member of their website. I've bought numerous HO scale brass models from them...mostly traction and steam engines. Dan Glasure's a GREAT guy! 👍 Thanks for taking us on a tour of brasstrains!
wow that would be an amazing place to visit. did you get stuck admiring the wooden model of the model? I thought that was fascinating.great looking glass cases full of brass.. and the project of the city out of a window view. just goes to show the attention to detail all these people at Brasstrains have.
Wow Very Impressive I had no Idea the of the Great Work Brass Trains Does and the Great Example they SET for us Modelers and Americans Thanks so much for Bringing Brass Trains to us 🙏🏼 C&O Guy!
OMG, Every model railroader should see this video, Amazing everything...........and if I worked there, I would never earn a paycheck, just pay me in brass !!
Next time you visit Florida stop in Orlando so I can show you a setup of a neighbor it's a huge one a whole one car garage size setup. Plus he has a lot of old brass equipment and what not. I would love to show it to you.
Great video! You should take a poll and see how many of your MR viewers have "played" with Legos. I have. My passion for the hobby started with them. Even as an adult I still "play" with them with friend's kids. Dream job: To work at BrassTrains.com as repair tech. I love rebuilding old brass locos and modernizing them with lighting, sound and DCC.
I love brass, too. And I'm sad that all the importers that sell HO, 'O' and 'S' scale brass engines and rolling stock are gone. And, yes I'm heartbroken that Overland Models lnc is gone, too. Overland was my favorite brass model train importer. 😔
Something Ive always noticed is that companies that dont rip you off have a modest facility where they do business, but a basket ball court??? To afford a facility like that they have to be making huge profits.
Adam's Brass Trains I agree and I think they had money before model railroading, they do this cause they love it. Don't hate the player, hate the game.
This facility was not in a prime real estate area. From what I understand, it was a church that went defunct or moved. As Adam said, it was a good deal and honestly their business model is just like every other capitalist based resale operation. The market has demanded high brass prices, not Dan or his business. If there's anyone to blame, it's the people who bid outrageous amounts on Ebay and other sites and pay the high prices. I think if anyone would start a business and the item they are selling goes into high demand/high prices, they will take it. Ripping people off would involve scams or misrepresentations and I don't see that happening with Brass Trains.
agreed! contacted them a couple of months ago with several overland models that I was looking to sale. seemed uninterested and had to call them back several times. eventually received a "lowball" offer for my items. decided to sell them myself on ebay. even with all their fees made twice what this outfit offered me. Good friend of mine had same experience with them several years ago. understable that they are in business to make a profit but they offer you pennies for what they plan to make big monies on. glad to finally see why! wonder how much mister monotone want to be a star was paid for this love fest video.
@@Bigboyy-dd7fd if you don't like the tone of my video, take your attitude elsewhere. No one forced you to watch it. But you're sure here whining about a company you didn't even use. If you don't like capitalism, then do what you did and sell it on ebay. For the record, and for conspiracy theories I was paid ZERO for this trip from any train company or dealer and it actually cost me several hundred dollars out of pocket.
Dan Vargas www.imagesrr.com Great video of your operation have purchased O scale models from you great to have your company available to purchase models that are very rare. Best regards With continued success in your business Dan Vargas
