06-20-24 Listening from Southern Ontario, Canada , 43* N. The sky broke open late this afternoon - the sky went black in the east - while I could still see the sun shining in the west. There were loud rumbling noises and I could see the lightening, over and over, but no sounds of lightening, so I think It must have been cloud- lightening : lightening can travel up to 50 km or so without hitting land. The rain fell in buckets for about an hour, and at least the temperature went down 5*, to 25*. I really enjoyed the story - sort of an “art of the steal” - so to speak ( instead of the “art of the deal” ). Another good story by Sam Dann! Hope all sleep well and dream sweet dreams !
