Brilliant!! Cool, modern interpretation. Love the interactions between the players, especially between bass and drums. The bass drives the combo during the first part of the performance, then absolutely shines in the solo! The drummer is outstanding, with such creativity in the sound spectrum generated on the various elements of the kit. Excellent work on the piano; it is quite an achievement to provide the melody in such a creative yet supportive manner while the focus of attention (at least mine) tends to go to the bass-drum combination. I keep coming back to this video time after time, enjoying it and hearing fresh surprises everty time. Bravo!!!
Proof, if any is needed, that a simple arrangement can be wonderful. You don’t need a lot of notes; you just need the right notes.
