if these came out 20 years ago, Boss would’ve been in trouble lol
You know these are Boss clones, right?
These are behringer based pedals that were boss based...
Absolutely Aggre
They had the digitech x series that matched the boss pedals
These are behringer repackaged. Used to be $20 a pop.
Not as embarrassing to own though 😅
These sound way better than I would have expected for the $$ what a sweet time to be a guitar player on a budget
Nick Casale: tell me about it. remember how expensive effects pedals used to be. back in the late 90's and early 2000's, if you bought a cheap $50 dollar effects pedal it wouldn't sound anything like this. it be like one of those cheap amps that Squier and Epiphone sometimes make an entry level beginner guitar with an amp. modern technology has really come along way, but with how affordable it is now to buy a budget $200 dollar guitar and so many good effect pedals you would think there would be much better music today than the shit that's been coming out for the last 5 years. sure there maybe some good music here and there out there today, but it's few and far between. the only artists putting out any kind of good music, are bands that have been around forever. i wonder if it has to do with this generation of smart phones, the internet, politics, and videogames etc. i like video games myself, but i don't become a slave to it like so many people and im 25 yr old guy of this generation. ever since i was 5 yrs old watching my uncle playing his acoustic guitar and electric guitar, it inspired me. i begged my parents every day to get me one, so on my 7th birthday my dad surprised me by getting me an Ibanez Micro. it was a nice cute little guitar and was pretty cheap for an Ibanez at the time, but i didn't care it was only $299 i was a happy kid. it took me awhile to learn, by the time i was 10 i started to get the hang of it. it took me 3 years to learn, but it eventually paid off. by the time i was 14 i could play Slayer Reigning Blood no problem.

Miss the best ones... EYEMASTER METAL DISTORTION, HONEY POT FUZZ, EL MOCAMBO OVERDRIVE, TUBE PILOT OVERDRIVE
The NETHER OCTAVER is also pretty nice.
They look amazing all stacked in a row. They're like my way huge pedals in that all wiring comes out of the top, allowing them to fit flush side-by-side. Such a small detail, usually overlooked, but look at the results! It can make your board look clean and organised..not to mention fitting more on your board.
I bought three of these and they are great, great value for money. Very affordable, built like tanks and the best thing is they sound great!
Pedro Couto e Santos where did you find them? I can't find them in the US
I live in Europe, I had to wait about a month until they became available, but you can buy them over here, now. I ordered from thomann.de.
Robert Abernathy guitar center has them in stock
Pedro Couto e Santos which did you buy? I am interested in some of these... chorus looks nice for example.
I got the phaser, the digital delay and the flanger. I like them all and am looking forward to buying more.
You don't even turn them all on at once?! Shame!
Elyon missed opportunity!
i like the big knobs (ooh er missus), the simple enclosure, and the top mounted jacks.
I have several pedals from prestigious brands, but I also have a TC pedalboard that includes Forcefield, Tube Pilot, Cinders, El Mocambo, Afterglow, Thunderstorm and The Prophet... and it's perfect for what I need!
The Prophet and Echo Brain sounded pretty great together.
I listened not to a single one or combi of those that I didn't like or had an unusable sound. Huge bravo to the designer, TC team and the reviewer.
Great to see them all lined up like that! Awesome demo.
love the design. big boxes, big knobs, no BS, tweak on the fly, colorfull (very handy for quick orientation on stage), jacks on top, true bypass, good price, good brand name, metal casing. I'm gonna build a big board with them all. Seems lots of fun.
wish all pedals had inputs/outputs/power on top like these... it saves space on the pedalboard and makes connecting everything so much easier
This is the best line of pedals for people like me - *people that would use pedals maybe once a while. Don't let snobs or audiophiles talk you out of it.* My buddy is a total snob who owns $400 pedals on average and of course, he doesn't like these. Not me, I love these "bang for your buck pedals" - I am too lazy to like pedals. I like my guitar into a Marshall or my guitar into a Fender Twin, and that is it. When I practice I like my Yamaha THR with built-in effects, but that is about how fancy I get. I like simplicity and I do not spend money on any effects - these are perfect for people who are dipping their feet into the water.
I have the prophet, afterglow, and echo brain. Love 'em
This is a fun demo format, jumping through them and combining them.
My fave here is the Fangs Metal distortion pedal! Awesome pedal! Great tones! Heavyy tight and punchy!😎🤘🤘🤘❤
Rusty and Blood were pretty surprising. Thunderstorm, Tailspin, etc. Pretty nice.
The chorus and od sounded killer in my mind, and it doesn't shoot your wallet
I've been using Boss pedalera for a long time but just a few days ago I brought a TC Electronic "Fang" and I am very satisfied, just used it for a show and it gave me that amazing guitar tone I like. Pretty cheap and amazing sound. I recommend it.
The cinders, tailspin, rusty fuzz, and sky surfer are my favs from this vid.
The Fang pedal sounds amazing. 😮
As an owner of the Cinders, Grand Magus, Fangs, Bloodmoon, and Prophet pedals I can say without a doubt the only bad one is the Bloodmoon. The Fangs is incredibly easy to get wrong, but when dialed in correctly it’s an absolute monster
Í bought this Fangs 3 days ago but I've been getting worng all the time.. I was expecting something between Metallica and Dream Theater but u know..
What's wrong with the bloodmoon?
@@Jeremy-ob4gm it boosts the volume significantly
@@benasslick67 ah gotcha, thanks
i admire your pedalboard wiring... so clean with almost no hum. do you have any tips for that?
Guitar Learning Network please
Yes I have a these pedals, it suits my purpose. Solid pedals, good quality.
phaser, fuzz, reverb/delays, and chorus sound amazeballs.
The Rusty Fuzz / Blood Moon combo sounded sinister, in a good way.
it did
Thank you so much for showing off all these. So helpful for a new pedal shopper.
Man, these pedals are my favorite! +also Nether and Honey Comb
Great video! Love the idea of having all the information I needed in one place. No nonsense. Thanks!
Forgefield,cinders,grandmagnus,echobrain,theprophet. That's all i need. Nice pedals!
Grand Magus sounds amazing.
That fuzz is EVIL!!! SO badass
Do these pedals have a clickless relay bypass? Cool video about the first Behringer era TCs batch by the way. Imagine if one day we will be talking about the Pre-Behringer TCs like we do about the Pre CBS-Fenders? What a scary thought...
Retro Phonica they are clickless, I don't think we need to worry about this ruining tc, it's not at all the same as cbs fender.
Retro Phonica Bummer. Very nice Country. Great people !!!
this fuzz itself is quite bad, BUT WHEN YOU USED IT WITH ALL THE OTHER SHIT, MY EARS BLEW UP, AMAZING SOUND
Bernardo Matos The fuzz pedal is fantastic, he just had it completely maxed so it sounded really bad. With the fuzz dialed back it's an awesome pedal.
Thanks a lot! Valuable content, without speaking a word
The fuzz with the flanger and phaser was great
1:13 Rock you like a hurricane. Good choice.
I forgot it ! Thank you !
@@user-lr3pn2ty9j No biggy. Great song.
I want the Rusty Trombone fuzz one
These pedals sounds crazy good and looks great,....i want all! ;D at least i ordered three of them,... ;)
Nice demo guys.
How does it work the afterglow with the grand magnus?
now they added some more pedals to this collection
I have that rush booster on the left it nice
Great video! Thanks.
5:00 Average 70s movie soundtrack ayyyyyyyyy
just an
amazing sett
hey buddy - if ya happen to catch this and still have that board or pedals do a boost comparison with the fangs then the grand magus???? i almost have this collection complete. need another voodoo plus 2 and im over the hump !!!!
Holy hell that Thunderstorm is feels! I don’t have one to demo near me, so I need to ask: does the Storm pair well with a chorus to create those wet soundscapes?
De acuerdo a otros videos los mejores de esta línea son : el fuzz, vibrato, compresor, OD y los dos delays.
Por Overdrive te refieres al Cinders? También he escuchado buenas reseñas del Mocambo
Great pedals.....especially if purchasing used market
Cool video and pedals! Got me a Choka for $35 and it rocks! Sweet tremolo for certain. They are sturdy, sound good and are inexpensive. What’s not to like? Also they may be rebranded but the brand before sounded good just had cheap enclosures. Pedals shouldn’t be much more than $50 anyway? Well most anyways?
nice pedals, nice demo
pedal order I would try:polytune
-
grandma gus
cinders
rush
the prophet
forcefield
echobrain
thunderstorm
bloodmoon
skysurfer
tailspin
afterglow
fangs
rusty fuzz
I would probably turn everything on at the same time and try to move everything around until everything could potentially sound could all together so that used singly I would know if I added more the layering would work well together.
keep in mind I've only owned five guitar pedals in my life time. boss metal distortion, boss super chorus, dod grunge, digitech multi effects rp 300 and tc electronic.
I love that it’s listed as Grandma Gus
I got it. you very like cinders. right? .... me too . my amp is orange dark terror. just wet with RUSH and put to orange. A orange become to the ORANGE.
I have the reverb and flanger, great value for money. The fangs distortion however sounds bad, I don't know if that's just your settings or the pedal itself.
Is that Gauss tape echo part of this range, it's the same form factor. Is it just new?
Cool demo. Are all the pedals placed before the amp, or are some running thru an fx loop?
Unchined line... first dist, over and fuzz. Second line the modulantions and finily revebs and delays. The phase disaper on dist in the chek...
Hey, if I may ask, what kind of pedal board are you using? I have to replace the one I have cause it only holds 6 pedals, and I'm looking for a good one. Also, i notice you have the output buffer pedal. Do you recommend it with multiple pedals or is it just preference?
beautiful
Fangs is good damn
This series of tc electronic effects are modified behringer effects
Very cool
I like your videos, but this would be so much better if you just hit one pedal at a time to give us a quick taste of each individual pedal. Then maybe combine a few at the end. Also, too much fuzz/distortion stuff going on and not enough with the delay/chorus/etc. pedals. Maybe do another video going through the pedals one by one? However, this is a really great line of pedals by TC Electronic. I have the Prophet and Skysurfer and they sound great! Thanks for so many great vids!
creepshow69 we have individual videos for each pedal if you haven't seen those yet.
I have seen them and they are awesome videos! I would just like to see all of the pedals together like this video, but used more individually, then some combining of them at the end, that's all. Hearing them immediately side by side would be a great sound reference. Anyway, love your videos. Thanks for everything! :)
Great demo! I would love to hear what it sounds like with the booster going INTO the dirt pedals. I wonder what they sound like when pushed?
dirtier.
Why didn't you consider the Iron Curtain to add it to the board?
Nice I have the TC Hall of Fame
NO Gauss Tape Delay. Bruh you are missin one of the best pedals in this series.
That came out later. I covered it too.
@@60CycleHumcast ok.
Hey bud can u help out I’m trying to decide what’s the better fuzz the rusty or the honeycomb ? If u can reply by Friday cause guitarcentets having a deal 3 of these for 100 and I’m considering that a great deal just need to figure out the best pedals in this line to get the best bang for bucks I really need a chorus, a fuzz, compressed or a phaser I’m looking to snag the honey pot the 3rd demension and the blood moon which ones would you recommend?
Thanks for your time have a great thanksgiving if your in the states hope you reply before Black Friday lol
I really like that fuzz pedal, but it doesn't sound great dimed like you have it here.
What are you using to power these? If you're daisy chain them do you get a lot of noise?
is it tc electronic for low price pedals?
Septian Dwi Ananto guitar center has them 2 for $100 sale right now
@@Shawn-rq4py now theyre 3 for 100 lmao
Isn't this pedalboard missing Honey Pot fuzz? Genuinely curious, I thought it also was a part of the Smorgasbord lineup
It came out later
@@60CycleHumcast I've assumed that could be the case. Thanks for the clarification!
So does the Honey Pot not fall Into this collection? Construction looks remarkable similar as does form and price point…
It wasn’t out yet when I filmed this.
@@60CycleHumcast quickly became one of my favorite stompboxes
Bro, where's the Eyemaster?
If the guitar thing doesn't work out there's always tap dancing!
What no Choka Tremolo?
Rusty Fuzz - ForceField - Cinders - Tailspin . Those are quite ok. The rest... meh.
David Stop it, you're gushing with compliments!!
That Rusty-Fuzz stinxxx!!! Frikken horrendous sound! Oi vey!!!!
NEWMOON54 that's because he has it cranked up like an arse!
@Sky Simmons it depends on what you like, they're both same quality, good but as for sound it depends on what you are going for. Personally I prefer rusty fuzz but that might be because I already have MXR variac fuzz which covers what Honey Pot can do. The rusty Fuzz is more like a fuzz face for psychedelic rock while Honey Pot is a more fuzzy than distorted big muff style sound.
this opinion is false
No!! :(
It's just pretty freaking outa control and zany! That's a huge positive in my big book of punk rock!
hell yeah
Ryan, it's been almost 2 years since this video and I'm just now interested in these pedals. Would you recommend them today for someone who is interested? I'm mostly concerned with quality.
There are some strong pedals in the line up, the fuzzes, delays and choruses are all great, the vibrato is wonderfull, Id skip the reverbs and distortions, the tub pilot is fun in a unique way but i wouldn't recommend it to everyone.
I really appreciate the response. Would you not recommend the Cinders?
I didn't like the cinders, it was super bright and doesn't offer any light gain sounds, if you want med to high gain and tons of treble its worth checking out i suppose.
Thanks again, I'll probably play it safe and get an SD-1. Have a great weekend.
you bet! the sd-1 is going to be way closer to a tube screamer if that is what you are going for, im not even sure what to compare the cinders to, its not a tube screamer.
what is that fuzz pedal based on?
TC says it's Fuzz Face inspired. - steve
yeah, but it's got that ripping/splatty gated sound. maybe it;'s modified in some way.
Are the new tc electronic pedals on the video, from behringer company or a copy of them but better
awhile back the company that owns behringer bought Tc Electronic, that got tc access to the supply chain and designs that behringer used. Tc has been tweaking/ reinventing many of those older circuits for this like, some of the pedals are completely new.
The pedal cases are rock solid in my opinion.
No eyemaster?
It wasn’t out yet when I filmed this
Most of these pedals come across as slight mirror images of each other. Not a passable distortion tone really. More dirty noise than anything. Give me a MAD PROFESSOR ANYDAY!!!
I can't see NETHER octaver...
It wasn't in the beginning line of release for these pedals.
Do you have a MojoMojo?
Hi!
I've heard some of them have popping/clicking sound issues
What's your experience with that?
I want a nice thrash sound what would you recommend to buy?
Expensive pedal but if u want crushing distortion get a wampler triple Rec, only pedal I think can do heavy distortion , but if your on a budget Maybe look into tc dark matter, pro co rat, or a metal muff, depends what your using as a amp tho if anything I recommend saving your money for a peavey 6505 head or combo amp, nothing beats that amp for metal thrash punk hardcore all of that it’s legendary and it’s more affordable then ever check your OfferUp Craigslist and used guitarcenters Sam ash or if ur in the uk thomans
Or if u want a pedal in this line and price rang get the fang, also check out red fang that pedal reminds me of that band lol
dartaeffects.com.br/produto/dr-boogie/ this pedal here simulates a dual rectifier, soumds killer.
Jeez that first fuzz setting sounds terrible
I like the prophet no more!
This line from TCe seems to be low quality effects, nothing to do compared to before line
What is your pedal order?
TC DRIP!
GunsNRoosendael I’m looking forward to getting my hands on one.
can't wait for that one! :) hope it's good!
no mojo mojo?
The Mojo Mojo was a main series pedal from TC, not part of this release run.
I don't see dark matter!
That's because it's not part of the TCE budget line.
Sadly , I was not impressed with the sound from any of the pedals, just way too much over the top. To me, pedals should accent the guitar sound, not bury it deep in the Kitty Litter Box...
the rusty fuzz kinda sounds like shit
its a fuzz, thats what fuzzes do.
60 Cycle Hum not the big muff or the honey pot
its a different kind of fuzz, i liked it.
That fuzz ain't so good or the other pedal sounds. Seems TC only focused on build quality and not actual quality sonically. I wouldn't buy any of the cheap range of TC pedals after this. Shame. They should of made them a bit more expensive and improved the quality. They sound nothing like the demos TC have on RUclips. I'd pony up more cash for their more expensive line.
Did you record this with a mic on the cab?
So you're basing an entire line of pedals off of only 1 pedal?
Horrible cheap pedals. Basically Behringer rebranded. Btw, thanx for the shootout.
