@borringatnight he's still giving a lot of false information with confidence. Either way he shouldn't be saying these things if he doesn't know. Like HJ having lip fillers tf?
@LUMI_MBB_STAY Yeah, that's a lot. Not that I'm against lip fillers or anything. The thing is that it only takes a Google search to know if what you're thinking is right or not. They just talk like stating facts.
Hyunjins lips are natural, he's always had them. The MV has themes. Kitchen for cooking up songs, construction site for creating their tracks and combining lyrics with music and visuals , the lab for experimenting with sounds and the race track for the competition within the industry. This is our TANG..... this is our flavour, our taste, it is what we do and what we are known for..... their taste? MALA TASTE..... hot and spicy for the ears You need to watch more videos. Changbin does not always start but when he does we call it a BINTRO. They have covered over 40 genres. Not every song has RAP, not every song has singing. JYP didn't put this group together. JYP experimented and let the leader Bang Chan, choose the members himself. As Bang Chan excels at everything, they left him to develop the group.
I wouldn't take the lips part too seriously! Maybe Kazinho was just jealous... Thanks for the notes on the music video. Someone else commented it as well, and we can agree you are both correct. We are also extremely silly for not figuring out the English word "tang" and over thinking it! Great point. Overall- amazing track and glad we can all agree here!
@kpxproductions also wanted to add the boys have done many collabs with international artists including Lil Durk Troy Sivan, Tiger JK, LiSa and Ski High. We are awaiting the collab with Epik High.
@@phylisbrown1181 Thanks for the additional color! Any of these collabs in particular you think we should do a video on? These collabs weren't very visible to find when we did our deeper dive on their discography in our other video. @@kpxproductions TOPLINE featuring TIGER JK an OG who brought the American style of RAP to South Korea in the late 90's. SOCIAL PATH featuring LiSA the Anime Queen. BREATHE with SKY-HI Japanese Rapper These are the 3 I would recommend. The Lil Durk feature was a remix of his ALL MY LIFE song.
The way this should be called "KPop hater and Skz hater react". I see there are more videos, and I know how good the boys music is, so I'll check them out to see if the close-mindedness continues. I hope it doesn’t because Stray Kids have amazing music, and you would be missing out. As someone who never gave kpop a shot because of preconceived judgments, Stray Kids caught me off guard and now they are all I listen to for over a year now.
Hyunjin lips are natural. Since Stray Kids reality show 2017. Stray Kids lips been plump. View Stray Kids babies photos with their little plump lips, of course as they became older their lips become fuller.
Stray Kids is a group of 8, self produced ! Even if they are in JYP, they owned their place (survival show) in the music industry with their own creations. Since pre-debut, their have a subunit (unit within the group) producing, composing and creating lyrics called 3RACHA : Changbin (the one strating the song), Han (the one rapping after Changbin) and BangChan (the one singing the first prechorus). They produce and make lyrics for almost 99% of all the song of the group. BangChan (the leader) have more than 180 credited song (180 in january so more now i think), Changbin and Han have almost the same count. But as of today, all members are starting to make their own song. They are also unique because unlike other groupes the leader (bangchan) selected all the members himself. In K-pop it's the agency who decide which member will form a group based on the concept of the group. If you like their songs, they have a big big catalog and they use a lot of music styles, not just the "noisy one". They also have a lot of content on youtube like behind the stage / MV or lives and a lot of covers; ect. If the dance part interested you, they have dance practices there too ! You could check the one for "Domino","Easy". You can try : Megaverse, Christmas EveL, COMFLEX, Case 143, Thunderous, Cheese, Venom, Freeze, Lalalala, the sound. If you prefer more melodic and less "noisy" songs try : Cover me, Chill, Collision, Can't stop, Limbo, Stars and raindrops, Leave, FNF, Streetlight, Youtiful They have also more "rocky" songs like Time out and YAYAYA. And if rap are what you're into try : Heyday (3racha), 3RACHA, Item, Topline, We go. As of today they have 15 albums and mini albums out. They have one single out today and a lot of collab like one with Alesso "Going Dumb" and one with Lil Durk "All my life". They already work on their new album and planned to release one album and one special album this year on top of thei 4th world tour. I hope you will have fun listening and discovering Stray kids. Ps : we call it the felix's effect (the low voice one) Ps2 : i'm editing to correct my errors sry, english isn't my first language.
Please take this as constructively as possible as that's how i intend it...But this video is like the iceberg meme where what you think you know is the small part above water, and what you don't know is the massive part underwater. You made so many assumptions, claims, and gave so many opinions that are just verifiably false. Hot takes can go south super quick and this video is evidence of it. Kazinho said "they went thru a meat grinder and all of their songs are pretty much the same after this." He kept mentioning songs he's heard of Stray Kids and every song you named is a title track. So you've maybe heard 8-10 songs or so right (correct me if wrong)? SKZ (Stray Kids abbreviation) has an almost 200 song discography. There is absolutely no way you could know what SKZ sound is if you've only heard 8-10, or heck, even 20 out of 200 songs right? Why I think I'm correct to assume the amount of songs you've listened to are few and mainly title tracks is because of something else you said. You said their formula is that Changbin starts their songs. Which, for title tracks that are typically hype, aggressive songs (and I'll agree tend to be slightly more formulaic), its no wonder Changbin starts them off (he's aggressive with his raps). But add in the rest of their 200 song discography and it's nowhere near the truth to say he starts almost all their songs. You mentioned JYP "pulling the strings," that they "don't write their own lyrics," and their "being pawns to the producers and visual directors." Holy shit is this so shockingly inaccurate! For most other acts it may be, but not SKZ. The leader Bang Chan HAND PICKED his members (virtually unheard of in Kpop). He creates almost all of their beats. Heck, he hand made the Stray Kids logo you liked so much! They are self produced (yes sometimes with the assistance of other producers). Chan, Changbin and Han are the main producers (also known as 3racha). They (or even other members occasionally) are listed as lyricists for their entire discography except 2 songs. They (and occasionally other members) are also listed as composers of virtually all of their songs. Chan is typically listed as an arranger in almost all of their songs. JYP has (thankfully) taken a mostly hands off approach to their music production. In fact, JYP (the man/artist/and huge music producer behind the company) brought them a song he wrote (and maybe produced? I can't remember) and said he was scared to bring it to them because it wouldn't be good enough! They accepted his song, but took it and made changes they felt fit them more showing how much of a hand they have in their music. 3racha directs all vocals in the studio. All this to say that they have an almost unprecedented amount of control over their music production. And to imply that skz is a "sinking boat," or that they "have been on a little bit of a downturn" is so beyond inaccurate that I don't even know if there are words to fully describe how wrong you are here. Their last 4 consecutive albums debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. No one in kpop has done that. In fact, the last artist too have done that was Alicia Keys (2001-2007). They achieved it in only 1 yr and 7 months! They hold the record for most presales of an album in Kpop (5-Star album - 4.93 million). They performed at the most recent MTV Music Awards and won the Best Kpop VMA. Performed at the most recent Billboard music awards and won Top Kpop Album Award. Won Group,/Duo of the Year at the People's Choice Awards. They headlined Lollapalooza Paris last July and will be headlining Lollapalooza Chicago this Aug. The performed at Global Citizen Festival in NY last Sept. They were invited by French president Macron and his wife to perform at Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes in France this past Jan. They will be headlining the I-Days Milano Festival in Italy, and headlining the BST Hyde Park Festival in London both in July. This past Monday they became the 1st group of any kind (Kpop or otherwise) to have all members attend the MET Gala in NY (they were dressed by Tommy Hilfiger). They are going on tour this year and it's rumored to be a 40 city tour. Their most recent tour that just the ended 4/23 was only a 20 city tour. They've doubled the number of cities for their tours in a little over a year! I'm probably forgetting stuff here, but I think you get the picture. They are MOST DEFINITELY not a "sinking boat" or "on a downturn" as you can surely see. They are actually becoming global stars as we speak. I don't know if you are the types to consider these as commercial successes or as SKZ selling out or something. I'd hope not. Many of us are fans because of their uniqueness. It's been said they've covered around 40 different genres in their music. Their lyrics are so deep, thoughtful, insightful - not to mention intricate with the level and the amount of word play they use. And last but not least, just because they are some of the nicest, funniest, and most humble humans you could ever meet. I've seen your most recent video and things seem to have possibly gotten somewhat better there, but i implore you to not try and be the quick judgement, hot take kind of reactors. Where "feelings" and snap assumptions and judgements are stated as facts. Please realize there's so much more to this iceberg than meets the eye!
Imagine taking ONE of the little kpop groups that made their own music since before debut and saying they don’t write their lyrics. Imagine taking the most successful 4th gen kpop boy group and saying they’re falling off. Unbelievable
Concordo com tudo que você disse. E talvez seja impressão minha, mas senti que ele já começou o vídeo com uma tendência negativa em relação ao Stray Kids. Uma postura meio depreciativa em relação ao trabalho deles. O amigo dele me pareceu mais aberto a ouvir o trabalho do Stray Kids. Mas, como disse pode ter sido impressão, e esse seja apenas o jeito pessoal dele.
If you think Changbin is always first then you haven’t heard/seen Megaverse or Maniac. Also, you know that Bang Chan, Han, and Changbin write most and produce most of their music themselves. So I don’t know what you mean by their creative director unless you are talking about Bangchan, the group’s leader.
Everything about the lyrics, the different scenes, and the choro are related. The choro matches the lyrics. And if you know about Stray Kids, which are 8 members, not 7 members, you will know that they are a self produced group. This means that they write the lyrics, create the beats and the melodies, and arrange the tempos. Because they produce their own music, they love to experiment with their music. The different scenes are telling you a story. Building the music, experimenting with music in the lab, cooking up the music. Because they have this recipe, they will move ahead in the race to win. The song is a flex song. No one can copy them because they are original and unique with their own style. Also, they dont do injections or modifications on their faces. There are natural ways to plump your lips for photos. There are 2 members that are from Australia and fluent in English, being their first language. I like the song just the way it is. So i disagree with your views on the usage of the English word vs Korean placement. I hope you check out more of stray kids and K-pop. The generic word K-pop is misleading. Putting all genres of Korean music under one word is a disservice. K-popp is so much more than just hip hop. And you will be missing out on amazing music and entertainment. I am old, been around awhile.longer than you 2. I have heard it all from 50s, frank sintra, funk, love my country, blues, rock to heavy metal, boy bands, punk, classical, spanish, german and instrumentals, etc. The list goes on. Im a lover of music. Stray kids have something special, fresh, and different. They have created their own genre. I have to add Changbin does start a lot of song intros but not every one. And the formula is not the same. I challenge you to listen to, stray kids entire discography then comeback and say i was wrong.
mam, you're a genius! just took the words of my mouth, yeah same, i dare them to listen to one, just one album of them (5 star, maxident or ordinnary) come back and say to us if it's always the same formula lol
Ah okay, that is a cool aspect. Did not know they were so involved in the creation process. We'll definitely look into who did what. Thank you for letting us know! Acknowledged. Stray Kids doesn't do any injections or modifications on their faces. They are all natural. Now we know. Gotcha, that's awesome that you listen to so much music and that Stray Kidz have created their own genre. No problem. Bet. We take your challenge. We're listening to their discography and will let you know what we think! Thanks a bunch for the wonderful insight you gave us! Really appreciate it. Stay tuned for more!
Hey there! We just uploaded a video of us reacting to a lot more Stray Kidz songs and giving our opinions. We've been checking You were the inspiration for the video, thank you for challenging us! We learned a lot, hope you enjoy the video!
I beg to differ that Stray Kids songs are formulaic. They have written and produced more than 150 songs to date THEMSELVES with a wide variety of styles, including rap anthems, ballads, UK drill, Latin flavor, etc. When Changbin leads off a song-called a “Bintro”- it is usually a banger, but he doesn’t begin every Stray Kids song. Also, JYP didn’t put this group together… rather, they allowed wunderkind Bang Chan (aka Christopher) to pick the members himself. This was unheard of in K-pop previously. Bang Chan creates most of their sounds and I dare you to find two that sound alike. 😊 The main songwriters besides Bang Chan are Han & Changbin. Together they are called 3Racha (a play on the hot sauce sriracha). They are hot! Btw, that’s what “tang” is… flavor. For more bangers, I recommend: Hellevator (written by them in 2017 when Bang Chan was just 20 years old & *before* their debut) Easy We Go Heyday Freeze 3Racha Venom Megaverse etc.
Well. You don't have to like anything; no one expects that from you. And no one expects you to know everything about them, either; many reactors come in completely blind. But being so confidently wrong about so many things while admitting you don't really know them is not the best look. It's fine to admit you don't know, no one would judge you for it. Also, saying things like "this is the part that makes girls cream" about a group with a predominantly female fandom is... a choice.
Felix is known for his impeccable graciousness & good manners, you could bring him to your grandparent's house for dinner, hell , even to your great - grandparents house!
I don’t see what’s confusing you about views and likes ratio. Do you guys drop the song you like after first listen and never come back to it again? Why wouldn’t Stray Kids fans relisten their break-through song?
Made it to the end & OMG imagine calling a group that has written & composed their entire discography with the occasional writer & producer credited usually BELOW them mind you, pawns? Plz educate yourself on stray kids with a "guide to stray kids" vid on yt, one that's seriously made & in-depth before u continue reacting to them.
11:38 it's not really random it's has 3 main theme in this if I'm not mistaking Cooking (Creative proces cause they self produced and every member is song writer, they make almost all of their song probly 99% due to some the member have their individual project with other producer) Construction projects ( about hardworking ,make all of the stuff like song, dance, etc.. and put it into an album) Race track ( symbol of competition cause when the album come out it's the time to competition in the industry)
Oooo, thank you for this insight! Did not know they were so involved in the creation process. Will check out the credits on their album to see who did what. We love racing, like formula 1, so we were probably expecting more racing stuff lol Overall, it's good stuff, pretty high on SKZ. Looking forward to the new release this friday with Charlie Puth! Thank you so much for the detailed response! Like and subscribe for more!
hyunjin was born with that lips. yea, that sexy lips. stray kids has 8 members, previously 9. stray kids self-produce their songs. they direct, record, write, compose, arrange the songs all by themselves. 3racha the subunit in stray kids had been producing songs since several years before stray kids officially debut dance racha, lee know especially, help in the choreography stray kids not only produce fire songs, they even have ballads felix has a natural deep voice, he's not pretending don't compare them with bts tho, bts and skz are from different generations. it's like you are comparing wonder girls with twice. they released like, over 200 songs with wide range of genres, and there are way many songs in stocks
I’m glad I watched the video all the way before commenting because I will admit I was in my feelings about the comments regarding Hyunjin’ lips. But only because I know how sensitive he is about because, people have judged him on his beautiful face and not his skills. And he is a phenomenal dancer. As a Stay I’m going to ask you not to compare them to other Kpop groups because they have never fit the mold. Kpop never interested my because the groups I observed looked manufactured and the music unoriginal and basic. Since the beginning they have displayed massive talents and creative control over their music. The other thing about them that is not traditional Kpop is the Leader Bang Chan. He built a group that are capable of singing, rapping and dancing, so while the guys have their preferences, they are not limited to assigned roles. Bang Chan created a family and they are super close. Stray Kids are brothers and have a lot of love and respect for each other. They are also the first Kpop group to have 4 debut albums chart #1 on the Billboard 200 consecutively. They also made history by being the first Kpop group to attend the Met Gala. The guys have individually achieved goals doing humanitarian and animal charities. Felix is S. Korea’s youngest UNICEF ambassador (although he is Australian). Thanks for watching the video that started a global sensation.
I’m like you in regards to other Kpop groups with one exception, BIGBANG. They are the first Kpop group to make their own music, G-Dragon started a lot of things we now see in Kpop. It was hard for me to find another group that satisfied me like them but eventually I found Stray Kids. Thank goodness SKZ give us so much content unlike BIGBANG we have to wait years, it’s not easy being a VIP 😭.
I see you made 2 other SKZ reactions after God’s Menu so I will refrain from commenting too much on this one, like how wrong you were about mostly everything you said, from Hyunjin’s fake lips, to musical formula etc. The du du du arm movement is them chopping food. Girls falling for Felix, in all the reactions I watched the western guys seem to fall for him as much as the girls like you guys did. I wish you would explain your comment about why you didn’t like them switching from Korean to English. The only thing I can respect is your personal taste, if this type of music is not for you I can respect that. Just don’t state things as facts without knowing the facts like Changbin “always” starting the songs.
Hey there! No ill will intended! Later in the vid, we were swooning later to Felix's visual and his deep voice. Kazinho was quite smitten with Felix, haha. Can't blame him, he's a good looking dude. Thank you for the comment! More stuff coming!
@@kpxproductions I appreciate that you're trying to be funny, but the DSL comment was something else, dude. Confidently claiming a member's had filler and then that? When you've said you don't even know the group well? That was really off-putting.
@@dannygrrl292 it's okay, i'm a Stay, in Korean culture where plastic surgery is so common it's not irrelevant to think that way at some point (having the suspicion as an outsider), just like ppl said Chan had BBL and we all laughed about it, I bet Hyunjin gets that all the time and we can laugh about it too... truth uncovers itself don't worry :')
I’m always curious what qualifies as a KPop hater. Do you hate KPop because you have heard some of it and found you don’t like it? Or simply someone who hasn’t heard much, but has preconceived notions or stereotypes of Korean music. Maybe you could elaborate?
nah lol, don't react to stray kids or kpop anymore, bro, you didn't even made a good introduction of the group, like what's the point of show skz members profile and just scroll fast af and don't even read their names, and even counting them wrong (it's 8, no 7 of them lol). 8:27 another reason, every kpop music video does that, they always put english and korean togheter :3 9:35 at frist seems weird, but when u listen to it more times, pay attention to every detail and read and interpret the lyrics (which is IMPORTANT, most of times the lyrics complements the mv).
Hey there! Thanks for the feedback! As you can tell, I'm not very good at math, there are 8 members, hahaha. for 8:27, I think Kazinho meant that he didn't like the choice of english here. For 9:35, gotcha. We didn't get a chance to take a look at the lyrics and interpret them. Thank you again @changbinfarted for the in depth comment! Stay tuned, we're looking forward to Friday's release with Puth!
@@kpxproductions i'm really sorry if my comment seemd rude dude! i was kinda upset cuz i tought y'all weren't interested on them or we're doing it for views like most of reactors. but yeah! i wacthed the whole video, y'all opinions we're honest which i like. but once you get into kpop, you gonna understand the things that at first impression are "weird" or "goofy". i was like that when i started too and here iam not living without k-pop! (the mixture of koreanglish in the song it's cool when you pay attention, actually sounds cool cuz the korean syllabes rhymes with some english words)
@changbinfarted it was a tad rude. Telling them not to listen to more because they didn't do a deep dive at first is not the way to entice anyone to check out a group. Saying things like "goofy" and "weird" is not a deal breaker. Though I'm a baby, Stay, I agree the goofiness and weirdness in our boys is there, and they embrace it in their stuff, that's what's so great about them. 😊 The purpose of feedback should be positive and encourage them to check out the back story of the group and offer up sings you think might peak interest more. I get it, it's the internet. Comments can come across a lot harsher them meant, but as a fellow Stay don't be too harsh with your words especially when someone didn't get into a song right away. Time will tell. Whether they ever get into the group or not, the fact that they give the songs a try and views is great in itself. Kpop isn't for everyone. Stray kids isn't for everyone, but even if there is only one song from their menu new comers get hooked on, Stray Kids did their job and truly has a variety on the menu 😁 ❤ 🫰🏻
@@kpxproductionshey I’m new to ur channel . Just randomly stumbled across it and I must say, this was a very respectful response to the op. I was expecting a sarcastic remark ngl lol but u guys handled it really well. And I think kpop fandoms in general just get a little protective, not just Stay.
@@user-ik1qj8ni4o ngl we are kinda protective, but me personally im not the type of obessessive fan and stuff. what i don't like is people calling stray kids trash when they don't even know more than 1 song, dont know the members and a lot more, i know ppl have different opinions that's super ok, but when you disrespect the group and be rude for no reason at all, and still posting videos reacting to them just for views, i can't accept that, this is just a hater.
I think the reason why Changbin is starting songs so often is because of huge huge HUGE competition in Korean music industry and they have to hook you right from the start since there are so many other options. And Changbin, one of the best and fastest rappers in kpop, who has an aggressive style and recognisable voice, is capable of showing from the first seconds what Stray Kids are about
also if bts is commercially created then stray kids is DEFINITELY commercially created, bts started from the absolute bottom and deserve every ounce of fame that they have, if you actually take time to listen to their music its not just pop and sunshine rainbows they touch on so many topics uncommon in kpop and they advocate for underrepresented voices through their music and THAT is why they got so big. Also, SKZ produces 99% of their own music (bts also produces, writes and composes) so their format is what THEY have created. Their format is like that because they create it like that. You also have to take into account youve only heard title tracks which do follow that formula.
Right? That part made upset with them basically judging BTS's whole discography when they've probably only, as you said, seen the one's that were more commercial compared to the many others where they wrote about more serious topics. Another thing was when the one said something about Changbin not always needing to start the songs (even though they didn't even watch enough to know that he doesn't always start) and he doesn't need the focus on him and that Felix was objectively more attractive.
@@AtinyCaratSTArmY_8713 real, they have a habit of jumping to conclusions instead of actually listening to more, how u gonna say bts is commercially created when you dont even know the group?! if you make assumptions based off of limited knowledge and preconceived you're bound to be wrong, and yea listening to 2 songs and then saying he "always" starts the songs. I understand commenting on that, because thats what you've SEEN so far. But assuming they don't write, produce and that they're automatically commercially created with NO knowledge on what THEY are involved in is just wrong. These groups work hard asf in music production and writing/composing just to be downplayed by people who won't do a quick look in the description to see the credits. Giving the credit to the companies when these groups work so hard
You know nothing about this group. 8! members not 7. Yes they wear makeup, all of kpop does. No they have not had cosmetic surgery improvemens. Ya'll are really ignorant. You should watch a Guide to Stray Kids. Edit to add - play the video all the way to the end. You missed an important ending. Question - what is your background in regards to music?
First of all... we can only like once... but we watch the video clip several times... It's not just girls who fall for the Felix Effect, boys and big men do too... The mix between English and Korean is what makes the difference... Regarding love and hater Kpop I was in doubt who was who...
THIS IS NOT AMERICAN MUSIC OR VIDEOS so yeah....weird is just going to be different for you. Also, there are 8 members not 7 and Hyunjin has NOT had lip injections lol. Look at pics of him as a child. Please don't make assumptions ...do some research prior to making a reaction video. Changbin doesn't always start their songs. These guy write and produce their own music. JYP has to do very little to promote them and JYP did not put them together. The leader of the group Bang Chan chose the members himself. Again...research...there's so much info out there about them. Stray Kids has surpassed BTS in some areas....but also do not compare groups in Kpop. With that being said..... thanks for your reaction.
I think some fans are being a little harsh in the comments. In the reaction world there are so many fake or exaggerated reactions for kpop and so I appreciate this honest feeling reaction. I don't blame ya'll for having misconceptions or wrong information tbh. *shrug*
i just wanted to mention that BTS is NOT apart of the big 3, bts is under hybe but coming up they were never backed by all the money in power in fact their label was struggling and going bankrupt. Hybe is considered big "4" nowadays but only with groups that debuted with hybe, not groups that debuted with bighit such as TXT. Hybe is a collection of different labels, Bighit is def not big 3.
Actually big 3 are ym, sm and jyp. Hybe started as a tiny company and were even bordering bankruptcy at one point. As big as hybe is, theyre not one of the original big 3
Their MV has used the metaphor - COOKING (cooking their new songs that is something enjoyable and satisfying.) ; LAB W/SCIENTIST - (experimenting on their songs, illustrating the creative process of making music - evidently they create multiple genres in one song) ; RACE CAR - ( convey themes of speed, excitement, and freedom since JYP trust and let Stray Kids make and decide for their own songs) ; CONSTRUCTION SITE - ( highlights the structured, methodical, and collaborative nature of music production, showing how various elements come together to create a cohesive and polished final product )

Every kpop group is commercial and Stray Kids is the top active boy group right now popularity wise, so they’re definitely not “sinking”. And I’m curious what have you guys seen of BTS to claim that they’re less “artistic”, because unlike Stray Kids they’ve never stuck to a sound or concept that made them blow up early on in their career (I’m not talking about their English singles obviously, they became big way before them). I’d like to see you review some of their songs like Dope, Blood Sweat & Tears, Spring Day and DNA
13:44 "He's that guy my wife says 'don't worry about' " hahahahaha he is a sunshine. I'm a fan, a STAY. My husband knows Felix like 'the anime guy' or the 'the whatever happened to him in puberty guy'
i appreciate your honesty!! sometimes i wonder if certain reviewers just pretend to like popular groups for the views. i liked this reaction, and i’m definitely going to watch more! just, word of advice: don’t state provable things as true fact that you don’t actually know. opinions are opinions; you like or dislike the video or the language switches or the beat. but whether or not someone has had lip injections, or always starts the group’s songs, or even all their songs follow the same formula? those things can be proven true or false. and it just makes you sound bad to say something with such certainty, in such a confident tone of voice, and then be wrong. especially when it’s something you have access to information about. also, it invites people to rake you over the coals. i mean, unless you enjoy that. 😁
I suggest the one who's calling himself a fan and trying to make content, please DO SOME RESEARCH before recording any stuff with the hater guy. If you are just going to give false information all the time you should stop and take a break from RUclips.
the music video and lyrics are a part of skz lore, they have since debut told a story with their m/vs and m/v teasers so the music video isn't random everything has its reason to be there Also the whole group from group members to proudcing and lyrics is formed by bangchan the group leader. He chose the members by himself and writes & produces all their music (with changbin the rapper who's "always in the beginning" and han another member of straykids) even tho a lot of people disagree since they're under a very popular entertainment, you could almost say they're self made since they haven't gotten any promotion since 2019 (they debuted in 2018) unlike other groups under the same entertainment who get promoted constantly (fyi they were only a experiment and meant to disband 4/3 years ago)
The KPop Hater was a better reactor than the KPop Lover who doesn't know what he's fricking talking about. I mean so much false garbage being said. On the down turn because of the meat grinder?!!! LMAO
honestly atom should be considered a hater too. he literally praises certain groups, and that's it. stray kids has so much talent, more then some of the "kpop lovers" favorites. they produce, almost always sing live successfully, there rap is great, the vocals are amazing, the music videos are out of this world, they just wanna be picky. maybe nmixx, kinda a younger sister group of them, is another example of this. they are also amazing, just hated on. I'm not completely hating on this channel, because I do watch and binge the kpop videos and I'm glad with some reactions to certain groups. if you can, please react to NMIXX. here's some of my favorite songs by them: 1. Love me like this 2. Dice 3. Dash 4. O.O 5. Roller Coaster 6. Sonar (breaker) 7. Young, Dumb, Stupid 8. Cool (your rainbow)
To add to my other comment, I could be wrong, but I get the impression you guys mostly know BTS's more recent songs. I do think that since they blew up in the west that there music overall has been more comercially driven. I loved Cynamite, but mostly because it came at a time when a lot of us were depressed from the pandemic and light-hearted song was needed. Butter isn't that great imo, and Black Swan got overshadowed since it literally came out when the pandemic hit. I thought Black Swan was beautiful. But overall their older songs are more meaningful. I hope they get back to their roots a bit when they all get out of the military.
There's a lot of information wrong here, but of course there's nothing wrong with it and it's actually normal because of the fact that you're not so much of a fan of them. I wouldn't expect you to know so much about them if they're not your favorite. So to kind of help out a bit. You're actually wrong when you talked about the formula because Stray Kids actually self produce and write their lyrics for about 99% of the songs that they have. They have various different styles to their songs and not too many of them sound similar to each other, they actually have their own category for their style of music which they call, "Mala Taste". It was created because Stray Kids music is very diverse and has so many different styles, and you may not like it at first but it will always leave you wanting more. You'll eventually find songs that you might like from the very beginning and other songs that your opinion will change of every time you come back to it. Their songs actually have deeper meanings than what you're seeing or hearing majority of the times. Not so easy to figure all of that out if you're not originally a fan because you have so many things to pay attention to when watching the music videos. Yes, I get it, it's definitely overwhelming sometimes, but that's mainly the whole reason why we're as passionate about them as we are. Because of the fact that actually everything you see has deeper meanings, not only their lyrics but majority of the times even their titles to their songs will have 2-4 different meanings as well. The music videos are remarkable. Every time you watch it you'll probably notice something different. To understand all of it, it definitely takes more than even 3 times of watching it and listening to it. It's actually better to probably either watch the music video first and then focus on reading the lyrics after or vice versa. Stray Kids are from one of the Top 3 entertainment business in South Korea and it's JYP entertainment not Hybe. Idk if you were talking about a different group at that moment because of all the wrong info at that point of the video. Also You actually don't always get Changbin rapping first. They're always changing it up, if you based that info on just 3 or 4 songs you've reacted to then I can see where you've gotten the false information. Hellevator, Young Wings, District 9, Voices, I am You, Miroh, Double Knot, Megaverse, Back Door, etc. Countless of other songs (cuz they have waaaay too many songs for the amount of years that they have debuted) where other members start the song off. Also Jyp didn't create the group, Jyp gave the leader of the group the opportunity to pick out the members he wanted to debut in the group, they where then later judged on a reality show to see if all 9 of them would get to debut as 9 members. Yes there were 9 members and actually one of them left on their own personal account for personal reasons dropping the number from 9 to 8 members. There's countless information out there about them and I'm sure other Stay's out there can give waaay better explanations than I ever could. xD Actually the group you were talking about at the beginning kinda sounds a lot like BTS, because you said 7 members from Hybe entertainment and BTS is the most famous from that Entertainment Business.
"Stray Kids are on a downturn bc of their formula" BRUH they are bigger than ever right now, and only hearing a few of their songs- and only main title tracks at that- does not show you their sound AT ALL. And JYP would be so lucky to be able to write and produce the way 3RACHA do 🤦♀️ I'm about to watch the next reaction video and I hope y'all show some learnin' after all the comments on this one lol I appreciate that the misinformation is simply innocent ignorance, so I'm not mad, and I thank you both for giving the Kids a chance 💕
All the members r natural and make up is okay for anyone to wear plz if ur gonna talk at least don’t act like uk what your talking about both y’all some k pop haters 👎🏽
You can rewatch a video multiple times but can only like it once. That’s why the count is off. People love it and rewatch it multiple times but unfortunately are only able to watch once. Also if you listen to more of their songs you’ll see they don’t always follow the same formula. Sure they’ve used it a few times and those are some of their more successful songs. But they’ve also had some successful songs that don’t do that. And they are certainly not pawns. They write and produce the music they want to and love to make
ARMY (BTS fandom) are quite overprotective of BTS, and there's a reason for that. They used to be mistreated in the industry when they started as their company wasn't a big one and was almost broke. But now, they are top brand. They have pretty good songs that didn't quite became mayor successes, but just know that many would go feral if you ever say something against them, even if it is just your opinion or they may miss interpret whatever you say. STAY (StrayKids/SKZ's fandom) are overprotective for other reasons. They come from one of the big three, JYP Ent, but they started as some kind of experiment. JYP himself gave Bangchan (skz's leader) the choice to pick members and form a group, make their own songs from scratch. That isn't the norm. In my opinion: They were made to fail (probably to state that the industry didn't need to change) and they succeeded. They write, produce, record, perform and sing all themselves. There's like a 1% they don't do, and it's mostly because it's some collab, anime opening or a song their ceo handed them. Also they have a great team behind them and have the company support, but they didn't always had that.
Bro do your homework first ?? 😭😭 it's insane that anyone would introduc skz not knowing that the songs has nothing to do with jyp but full 3racha production and formula?? 😭😭 hyunjin lip filler ? It's easy if you google some info before filming
I appreciate that you´re looking into stray kids, but this video got me kind of mad... I don´t want to accuse you of anything, but SKZ are so populare that any youtuber can react to one of their MVs and the number of views explodes... It feels hypocritical to suggest SKZ use the new collab or Charlie Puth is using them for clout when you´re profiting from the same effect. I love watching reactions to SKZ content and experiencing their songs in a new way, but this didn´t feel very genuine... The stray kids fandom (called "Stay") has a lot of memebers around the world and that´s because we are emotionally invested in their music and in them as people. I don´t know if you´re aware of that, but I think it´s the main difference between Asian and Western Artists... Each SKZ (or for that matter any kpop group) member is working hard and sacrifices a lot to be successful in that industry and I just think it was kind of a shame that you could´nt do a quick google search and gain some basic knowledge before you judged them. Don´t get me wrong - I like your approach, coming from a different musical background, and I look forward to your next videos, but if you keep judging them only compared to metal music or to what you thought, their music would be like, please also stick to the musicality. If you want to make comments on individual looks, how the songs are created or how SKZ works with their company please educate yourself. There is a ton of free content on yt and stays are always happy to recommend videos- otherwise you´ll miss a lot in the MVs and for me personally you won´t have any ground to judge them on. Wish you the best!
I was about to jump on this comment section so hard as a hardcore Stay. But I stayed and watched… knowing this is just the beginning even for the k-pop lover. SKZ doesn’t fit the mold and that’s what pulled me in. I’m sure you have other videos I will check out too. The misinformation made me grind my teeth but I see my fellows stays have covered a lot of that 😂
The whole video is actually a masterpiece. So the whole cuisine theme is a symbolism of them making their own stuff, they compose music themselves, write the lyrics and even the do the recording part themselves, Bang Chan, Changbin and Han are the ones in charge for the whole studio work. So they are sort of "cooking" their music from scratch. The car race part is where they talk about competing with other groups in the industry and being #1. They do their own stuff and and they are good at, they're "one of a kind". Felixes rap part "Cooking like a chef, 5 star Michelin" actually ties both cooking and racing together. The mentioned car race part might seem very random but it's actually very cleverly done. You might know the wheel tire brand Michelin. Back in the day the brand made a list of car stops where the drivers could eat and stay being on a long drive. Later it evolved into something bigger - the famous Michelin stars that are only given to the top cafés and restaurants out there. So Michelin that produces tires is also the same Michelin that gives our the stars.
Love stray kids. However, your comments about BTS were interesting. A few points. 1. Hybe is not one of the big 3 agencies, they started out the underdog. Stray kids is part of the big 3. 2. Stray kids chan, changbin, and han write all the songs for stray kids for the most part. They have an awesome sound, but many of their songs do have the same sound, like you said. But try songs like taste and lonely street that don't sound the same. There are others too, but it seems like only the songs that have that aggressive sound get the most likes. Same for Ateez, which is sad because both groups are more versatile than that. 3. If you listen to BTS b-sides they are not focused on commercial success. That is definitely applicable for solo work. Just listen to RM's latest album right place wrong person. It is very cutting edge and very non-commercial, in fact 7 out of the 11 songs were banned by korean censors due to profanity and topics. V's lofi jazz r&b album layover is definitely not commercial, any of the rap solo albums for suga(Agust-D), RM, and j-hope are definitely not commercial. I would say one of the songs on jimin's album was meant for commercial success, but not the rest. Jungkook's album was the only solo album that was targeting mainstream and commercial success. Jin has not released a solo album yet, but i anticipate that one will also target either mainstream commercial market or the Japanese market that is into ballads. 4. Have you heard anything by BTS other than the few songs that came out in english that do not really represent them since they did not write them (except RM did work on the rapping for Butter) and they were just supposed to be pick me up feel good songs for the pandemic? They have lots of beautiful and moving songs like your eyes tell, house of cards, and louder than bombs that are very deep and emotional. I would say that 15% of their discography is targeting mainstream. Listen to cyphers 1-4 if you need examples.
Buenas tardes!
Well technicly JYP didnt put the group togever, their leader Bangchan hand picked eatch member, and then they had to go throu survival show togever and JYP decided if they could debute togever.
I hate that I came into this comments section and read anything. Thankfully I watched the video before reading or I would have thought they hated Stray Kids. People are so sensitive about everything. Acting like he confidently said Hyunjin had lip filler when he casually said it jokingly and even if he didn't who cares? How does that even change Hyunjin? Get out of Kpop if cosmetic changes are a no no for you. And sure Atom is misinformed about Stray Kids but that is what the comments is for. You can share information in a friendly way, without being so angry and hateful, even though I am sure most think they are being "friendly." To those who did try and inform them about Stray Kids in a helpful way, I appreciate you.
So let's be honest, we all have our opinions and we have the right to say them. If you and I think straykids are better than bts, we shouldn't be afraid to say it aloud only because there are more bts fans and they will attack us😂 I'm not even a hardcore stray kids fan, i'm a kpop fan in general and i agree with you.
exactly! those words “better,” “best,” even just “good” and “bad”… fact vs opinion is something we’re supposed to be able to internalize from childhood, but a lot of people get so MAD about it. maybe it’s a respect thing too? other people are allowed to have different opinions without earning extreme judgement. i had to add the “extreme” there because sometimes… 😬 but then, when people smirk and say something like, “hey, you’re entitled to your opinion, but you’re obviously wrong,”- well, that’s not how the word opinion works, dude.
Never watched or listened to their music before!! I’m a gg kpop girl only lol but imo I just didn’t like the slow parts tbh I don’t know if they just need to be moved to a different place or what (I liked the one with the deep voice parts though) AND I agree with the one of a kind line as well. Just felt out of place. Other than that I loved it.
Kpop hater vs skz hater There’s. A difference between giving your thoughts and being straight disrespectful, you guys are the 2nd one Can someone tell me did they rate the song or no cuz I ain’t watching that whole vid
There is a lot of false information being given from the "kpop lover" here
I think he likes kpop, but is not a STAY or he just started listening to them.
@@lizatnight exactly
In his defense he usually tells viewers to correct him in the comments lol
Hyunjins lips are natural, he's always had them.
The MV has themes. Kitchen for cooking up songs, construction site for creating their tracks and combining lyrics with music and visuals , the lab for experimenting with sounds and the race track for the competition within the industry.
This is our TANG..... this is our flavour, our taste, it is what we do and what we are known for..... their taste? MALA TASTE..... hot and spicy for the ears
You need to watch more videos.
@kpxproductions ohhhh, sorry, I just edited it to add more info.
The Lil Durk feature was a remix of his ALL MY LIFE song.
The amount of false information being confidently shared like it’s the truth had me shocked. Wow. 😂
It’s amazes me how many new reactors of Stray Kids can’t count that there are 8 members in the group
tbf god's menu's distribution does new reactors no favours in that regard...
@@tarostartic8833 🤣🤣🤣
Ikr like bro can't even count how many people are on a cover?!?! 😭😭
If you prefer more melodic and less "noisy" songs try : Cover me, Chill, Collision, Can't stop, Limbo, Stars and raindrops, Leave, FNF, Streetlight, Youtiful
They have also more "rocky" songs like Time out and YAYAYA.
Ps : we call it the felix's effect (the low voice one)
Ps2 : i'm editing to correct my errors sry, english isn't my first language.
People can only like a video once but watch it over and over. That''s why the views/likes ratio is the way it is.
Exactly!!!
Frfr because I've watched skz music vids a truly atrocious amount of limes lmao
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Concordo com tudo que você disse.
E talvez seja impressão minha, mas senti que ele já começou o vídeo com uma tendência negativa em relação ao Stray Kids. Uma postura meio depreciativa em relação ao trabalho deles.
O amigo dele me pareceu mais aberto a ouvir o trabalho do Stray Kids.
Mas, como disse pode ter sido impressão, e esse seja apenas o jeito pessoal dele.
@@francielyleandro0325 You said it!
Not reading all that
Dude. You basing your SKZ knowledge on a couple of songs. Bunch of prejudgements and prejudice is what I heard
better yet these guys are bashing Changbin's looks. These guys WTF
This comment 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The main songwriters besides Bang Chan are Han & Changbin. Together they are called 3Racha (a play on the hot sauce sriracha). They are hot! Btw, that’s what “tang” is… flavor.
For more bangers, I recommend:
Hellevator (written by them in 2017 when Bang Chan was just 20 years old & *before* their debut)
Easy
We Go
Heyday
Freeze
3Racha
Venom
Megaverse
etc.
They are approaching 200 songs at this point.
Well.
You don't have to like anything; no one expects that from you. And no one expects you to know everything about them, either; many reactors come in completely blind.
But being so confidently wrong about so many things while admitting you don't really know them is not the best look. It's fine to admit you don't know, no one would judge you for it.
Also, saying things like "this is the part that makes girls cream" about a group with a predominantly female fandom is... a choice.
I thought they said scream. Omg...wtf.
These guys know nothing. They are self-made nobody is moving their strings.😩🙄
Felix is known for his impeccable graciousness & good manners, you could bring him to your grandparent's house for dinner, hell , even to your great - grandparents house!
These guys are talking blind😂😂😂😂
I don’t see what’s confusing you about views and likes ratio. Do you guys drop the song you like after first listen and never come back to it again? Why wouldn’t Stray Kids fans relisten their break-through song?
You can watch the video hundred times but you can only like it once.
Really wish you guys would do at least an elementary check on who you’re commenting on.
And there are eight members, not seven.
Tang is like the taste… the tangy flavour in their music
11:38 it's not really random it's has 3 main theme in this if I'm not mistaking
Cooking (Creative proces cause they self produced and every member is song writer, they make almost all of their song probly 99% due to some the member have their individual project with other producer)
Construction projects ( about hardworking ,make all of the stuff like song, dance, etc.. and put it into an album)
Race track ( symbol of competition cause when the album come out it's the time to competition in the industry)
You would be surprised to check out their b side songs, there are so many different songs in their discography that incorporate a variety of genres.
hyunjin was born with that lips. yea, that sexy lips.
stray kids has 8 members, previously 9.
stray kids self-produce their songs. they direct, record, write, compose, arrange the songs all by themselves.
3racha the subunit in stray kids had been producing songs since several years before stray kids officially debut
dance racha, lee know especially, help in the choreography
stray kids not only produce fire songs, they even have ballads
felix has a natural deep voice, he's not pretending
don't compare them with bts tho, bts and skz are from different generations. it's like you are comparing wonder girls with twice.
they released like, over 200 songs with wide range of genres, and there are way many songs in stocks
You guy just start personal attack on their look before even starting to react to their song.
@@kpxproductions you so confidently talk about lip fillers, while you don’t even know Stray Kids are self-produced
The guy my wife would say "don't worry about him" LMAOOOO
FELIX
That guy you couldn't even be mad about her cheating with
I’m always curious what qualifies as a KPop hater.
8:27 another reason, every kpop music video does that, they always put english and korean togheter :3
9:35 at frist seems weird, but when u listen to it more times, pay attention to every detail and read and interpret the lyrics (which is IMPORTANT, most of times the lyrics complements the mv).
The purpose of feedback should be positive and encourage them to check out the back story of the group and offer up sings you think might peak interest more.
Stray kids isn't for everyone, but even if there is only one song from their menu new comers get hooked on, Stray Kids did their job and truly has a variety on the menu 😁
❤

Stays coming in hard on the comments. ❤❤ I love it and so glad to be a stay ❤❤❤ 😂 ❤❤❤
He called skz a sinking boat 🤦🏽♀️atp that’s defamation cuz they’re ready to go on tour sinking where ????
You know nothing about this group. 8! members not 7. Yes they wear makeup, all of kpop does. No they have not had cosmetic surgery improvemens. Ya'll are really ignorant. You should watch a Guide to Stray Kids. Edit to add - play the video all the way to the end. You missed an important ending.
Question - what is your background in regards to music?
케이팝 싫으면 그냥 싫어하세요. 누가 뭐래요? 대신 케이 컨텐츠로 조회수 빨 생각도 마시구요! 추잡합니다.
Frr
Every song has a story behind it. Don't just try and analize it without knowing the story.
These men work hard, and are very talented
18:16 THEY ARE WRITING THE SONGS
u probably know by now Chan picked the members himself, an industry first for kpop companies but he also choose the name & designed the logo
its always the boys being shocked by felix voice i can affirm
Please check out the group/band called xdinary heroes. They are from the same company as stray kids. They make metal/rock songs
But that's the difference between straykids and other kpop groups! They produce their own songs, not a mere help in producing.
that why their songs are sh*t
@@g-daysubs6645 your opinion.

Im here for your journey of discovering Stray kids, let’s goo!❤
Heeyy there! Thank you so much for sharing your excitement! We're glad to have you here! We've been loving our journey with Stray Kids. We are uploading another video about them very soon, so stay tuned. As for your other comment about a guide for Stray Kids, I don't think we're the most qualified for that haha😅 but we accept the compliment, thank you thank you. If you have any other recommendations for us, please let us know, we would love to check them out! Thank you for the kind words once again, like and subscribe for more!
Please please please stop saying false things so confident... I think the last time I heard so many false facts about SKZ was a long time ago. :(
I suggest the one who's calling himself a fan and trying to make content, please DO SOME RESEARCH before recording any stuff with the hater guy. If you are just going to give false information all the time you should stop and take a break from RUclips.
the music video and lyrics are a part of skz lore, they have since debut told a story with their m/vs and m/v teasers so the music video isn't random everything has its reason to be there
Also the whole group from group members to proudcing and lyrics is formed by bangchan the group leader.
LMAO
I was so confused the whole time cause I thought I was receiving Slack notifications from work, then I realized it was just the video 😭
The actual big three is sm, jyp, yg. Hybe is sometimes mentioned as the big fourth.
All their lips are natural lol... Hyunjin is famous for his lips, and so is Chris (Bang Chan/leader) 😂
honestly atom should be considered a hater too. he literally praises certain groups, and that's it. stray kids has so much talent, more then some of the "kpop lovers" favorites. they produce, almost always sing live successfully, there rap is great, the vocals are amazing, the music videos are out of this world, they just wanna be picky. maybe nmixx, kinda a younger sister group of them, is another example of this. they are also amazing, just hated on. I'm not completely hating on this channel, because I do watch and binge the kpop videos and I'm glad with some reactions to certain groups. if you can, please react to NMIXX.
here's some of my favorite songs by them:
1. Love me like this
2. Dice
3. Dash
4. O.O
5. Roller Coaster
6. Sonar (breaker)
7. Young, Dumb, Stupid
And JYP would be so lucky to be able to write and produce the way 3RACHA do 🤦♀️
I'm about to watch the next reaction video and I hope y'all show some learnin' after all the comments on this one lol
I appreciate that the misinformation is simply innocent ignorance, so I'm not mad, and I thank you both for giving the Kids a chance 💕
They write and produce the music they want to and love to make
true!! i have no idea how many times i’ve seen some of their videos! over and over… and yeah, there’s only one thumb there.
How could you get the number of members wrong, smh,I wanted to like yall, probably shouldn't talk if your gonna be rude ,DSL REALLY...EWE
Bro do your homework first ?? 😭😭 it's insane that anyone would introduc skz not knowing that the songs has nothing to do with jyp but full 3racha production and formula?? 😭😭 hyunjin lip filler ? It's easy if you google some info before filming
I think what they are saying is we are a group, but we are individuals with our own likes
Skz is everything🥹💯✅🫰🏻
FELIX DEEP VOICE💯🔥💥
Yes, that bass won me over, I will always stay, love my Felix💙
What kind of music do you two like?
Maybe create a song as an example of what you think is good music and delivery.
🤔 are you really a fan?
From what I understand two members are from Australia, so they speak English pretty well
Yall should react to live performances
I love your reactions, it's sooo objective it's refreshing (saw the newest video didn't expect to see the whole thing), also.. react to backdooooor
Not all songs have a "Bin-tro", but most of the best ones do ❤ you should check out Maniac. If you like rap more, Venom is cool too.
React to stray kids “victory song!!” If you like hard hitting beats then that’s the song you should check out
Why are the comments so toxic😂
Buenas tardes!
Ny frustration when he said 7 never boy group: 📈📈📈📈
You can share information in a friendly way, without being so angry and hateful, even though I am sure most think they are being "friendly."
To those who did try and inform them about Stray Kids in a helpful way, I appreciate you.
Actually Jyp didn't formed them
Bangchan (leader) did :)
I think tang is a strong taste or flavor
just reported your account, hope your hate and misleading information get you in a nice job...
So let's be honest, we all have our opinions and we have the right to say them. If you and I think straykids are better than bts, we shouldn't be afraid to say it aloud only because there are more bts fans and they will attack us😂 I'm not even a hardcore stray kids fan, i'm a kpop fan in general and i agree with you.
exactly! those words “better,” “best,” even just “good” and “bad”… fact vs opinion is something we’re supposed to be able to internalize from childhood, but a lot of people get so MAD about it. maybe it’s a respect thing too? other people are allowed to have different opinions without earning extreme judgement.
i had to add the “extreme” there because sometimes… 😬
but then, when people smirk and say something like, “hey, you’re entitled to your opinion, but you’re obviously wrong,”- well, that’s not how the word opinion works, dude.
3:06 hyunjin has never gotten any type of surgery what????
Daniel give me coffee
Never watched or listened to their music before!! I’m a gg kpop girl only lol but imo I just didn’t like the slow parts tbh I don’t know if they just need to be moved to a different place or what (I liked the one with the deep voice parts though) AND I agree with the one of a kind line as well. Just felt out of place. Other than that I loved it.
Tang is English-flavor. Like Tangy.
just subscribed
Kpop hater vs skz hater
