    Project Description:
    ********************
I have got two digital microwave sensors designed for the same job and uses the same doppler radar to detect moving objects using microwaves. This one is the RCWL-0516 Microwave Sensor which is smaller in size and its really cheap.
While this one is the Gravity Digital Microwave Sensor V2.0 from the Dfrobot which is bigger in size and obviously its more expensive than the RCWL-0516 microwave sensor.
I have already used the Gravity Digital Microwave Sensor V2.0 for controlling lights, for detecting humans behind the walls, and recently I used this sensor to create an invisible security system. It has exceeded my expectations. So, If you are Ok with its price then just go for it, it works flawlessly.
But, if you are more into saving money and you are ok with 6 to 7 meters detection range then you can start with this one.
Right now, I don’t know if it can detect moving objects and humans behind the walls, and this is what we are going to find out in this video. So, without any further delay let’s get started.

Hi, I have two of this similar board but my detection range is only < 5cm on the back side (logo side), and < 3cm on the front (component side). Do you know what could be the issue? Is it both board are faulty? Or I have miss any important setup? Thank you for your attention. Great videos and projects.

Kindly watch the complete video, I have explained how to increase and decrease the range and output ON time.

@@ElectroniClinic Yea I had watch the entire video, at 4:02 you explain to add resistor at R-GN that could control the range. But base on the datasheet, this will only good for reducing the range. My issue here is the detection is only less than 5 cm. So adding any more resistor won't help to increase the range right? Unless I have overlook something, you could enlighten me. 😊
