You had me crying with the story of how your parents met, I was a single mom just like your mom and met my husband when my daughter was 5, I can see my daughter talking about her dad the same way you talk about yours ❤

I have a question: do you speak Spanish at home with your mom? I am a mom of 2, from Spain, and I try to raise them as bilingual as possible, but it’s hard being the only source of Spanish they get on a daily basis.
I was born and raised in Canada,got married in Greece. I am of Greek decent,I only spoke English to my daughters. They learned Greek from their dad. You speak to them only in Spanish at home. They will learn It will be a shame if you don't. I am a second language teacher. Never lose your mother tongue. People here in Greece pay to learn it ❣️
@@angieathanasopoulou3562 hi! Kalimera! Yes I speak exclusively in Spanish to them. What I meant is that they only hear Spanish from me and occasionally their grandparents. It would be nice to have more sources of Spanish in their lives. They speak French with their dad and at school. And English with friends and TV. It’s a lot 😅
