Nice Haul. The wooden bowl is mother of pearl shell inlay and it is worth a good chunk of money. That is a true treasure. The mouse is a homemade doorstop. It is probably from the 80's. I sure wish the goodwill outlet store in SC was closer to me. It looks like it would be fun digging through all those bins.
The laptop desk is a steal!
Thank you ♥️♥️♥️🤣🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 love thrifting with you ♥️
Julie if you had to shop at my local Goodwill store, no bins, you would go broke reselling. I am so dang jealous! God Bless!
We are getting a new Goodwill. I'm so excited to see it. Let's hope prices don't reflect the cost of the building.
Idk if we get a BIN store or not but wouldn't that be fun .
Mouse.......oh dear I'm sorry but I would have to leave her there. Sorry mouse. My granddaughter would have her sitting on my kitchen table or something and expect me to leave her there.
The coffee filters are not tea dyed. They are natural paper, no bleach used on them.
I wouldn't paint the burlap bunny. It is pretty the way it is with the scrolled design. Send it to me. 😂
The brown coffee filters are most likely organic papers, meaning that you don’t ingest chlorine, as you would from bleached white filters.
The lining of that large wood bowl is shell
That star is cute! Looks like you got yourself a new singing tree topper! 😊👍❤
Sort of reminds me of dept 56, I think the artist is Paige Brewster.
She does weirdos
Wooden bowl 👍…….Star doll…….😳
That looks like Capice shell lining the bowl. Score!
The mouse is a door stopper
The wooden “desk” is a 80s -90s breadbox! My mom and lots of moms had one during the country era.
I love all that you found. The wood stuff was great. That bowl almost looked lined with the shells that are valuable. The pottery angel is cute. I don’t know anything about the gold angel but it’s cute although different. I could see it hung in a nursery especially if it played music. I thought the wooden box was an old letter writing lap desk and your paper supplies would fit inside. I can’t believe all that you find.
Loved all you bought, but i would of definitely bought the wooden desk top!
At 2:26 the bowl comes apart at the bottom. You can change out the items in them depending on the holiday theme you wish to go with. For Halloween I loaded candy in mine and used it for tricker treaters coming to the door.
Yes. I have one too. They're so fun to change out.
NICE HAUL !
I really liked the little star doll. Her face looks so vintage.
Loved all the wood items you found. 😊
The wood desk is an old lap top desk
What a good day for thrifting!
This "creepy" star shaped doll that plays a song obviously is a music box for babies. Does it play a lullaby (maybe a German or other European one)? That's also the reason it is star shaped - reference to night time, made to put babies to sleep. It's really common here in Germany and I'm quite surprised it's not a thing at all in the States, and even considered creepy 🤔....
The string is needed because it has mechanic clockwork to play the song, works without batteries 😊. Still astonished it seems to be completely unknown in the states 🤷🏼♀️
I like the two little deer the best
Love your bin video's ❤California
Loved everything you found..
I have couple of those like pottery angels with the sguiggly hair, so stinking cute! Awesome well pieces, especially the bowl, its gorgeous! Ummm don't know about the little gold star person, but i agree, its creepy🫣 lol TFS!
The cutting board is my favorite!!🥰
I LOVE… that WOOD 🪵 BOWL!!!
Yes, please!!!😊😃😁
Thanks for sharing..those coffee filters come like that...that's what I have...same color...
“It’s weird, it’s creepy. I’m gonna get it.” 🤣 Love it!
One of the oddest things I've ever seen. Probably cursed.
Yes the plastic bowls come apart and you can change out decor for whatever you want. Love mine
I love all of the wood items up purchased Im not sure of the musical star lol
Loved cutting board and the rustic bowl. Good finds
Sorry Julie but I think i would leave the mouse with that star thing.....(Im still shaking my head at the string dangling from the star. Just strange)
Capis shell lining on the wooden bowl...
You scored so many wonderful things-that is a wooden lap desk, the top is slanted so you can comfortably write your letters on it. The wooden bowl is lined in capiz shells and is from the Philippines-very common in the seventies and eighties and once in awhile you find newer things with them. They are a very common shell in the Philippines and used for many things. I had a chandelier made from them years ago.
I think it was a Baby Stella doll. Both of my grandson's have the boy dolls.
Some really cute stuff. Great finds love it all.❤
This was a good haul Julie. I do not know what the star shaped stuffed doll is supposed to be. It's definitely unusual. 😊
For the bowl with the different compartments, the bottom pops off so you can change things out. For Easter I put jelly beans, easter grass, etc in each compartment. So fun!
Love your video, love what you got but was wondering if you could seriously think about making them longer. Sometimes you used to go to 2 or so store hoping you could do that again for longer content. Seems like I start watching it and 2 mins later it's done. A lot of the thrifting videos i watch are like 15 mins long and those are fun. I'm one of these⁰p7p people that likes the longer videos like that so I just thought I would ask if there's anyway you could make them longer. Loved what you got though especially the deer. My friend has a bowl like that one and I know hers you can take a part and change it up for the seasons or holidays. She showed me how to get apart but I'll be darned if I can do it. Thank you and hope you have a wonderful day.
Awesome cutting board. ❤
I wish you still made your cutting boards, they were so awesome ♥️
You got a lot for your money!!
Make the bunny basket some ears out of a wire hanger and spray paint white!
I'm new here so are there days the Goodwill does bin deals ? The Goodwill around where I live does not do this and there prices are usually to expensive for me to buy second hand . I guess it just depends on how bad you want or need something though .
She is at an outlet store not a regular goodwill. You would need to search to see if you have one near you, but they tend to in bigger cities. The outlets do it different at each one, but most charge you by the weight. The employees roll out big bins and you dig through them, be careful of broken glass etc. you can find some amazing things! Lots of resellers in these places, but I go just for fun and decor for my house. Typically the resellers will line up when the bins ar evening out out, because you have to stand behind the line til they tell you and then they go quickly through.
It’s the devil!! 😅
Coffee filters are not tea-dyed. They are “natural’ and not bleached white. They come that way.
That big mouse would be a doorstop I think.
