Season 1 was about Playmaker relieving the trauma of his past, trying to resolve the conflict he's held all his life. Season 2 is when the Ignis attempt to take over, Playmaker's goal is to find peace where both humans and Ignis can coexist. Spoilers for Season 3 and 2 so if you haven't watched Vrains yet and plan to, you might want to stop reading now Season 3: all the Ignis except Ai are dead and Ai seemingly wants other humans to feel the same pain he feels being the last Ignis. However Ai quickly realized after Season 2 that his existence would lead to the end of humanity so the reason Ai became a villain was to get Playmaker to kill him. Playmaker's goal in Season 3 was to try to come face to face with Ai and help set him straight as at this point they are very close and Playmaker still believes in coexistence even if there is only one Ignis remaining. By that time, Ai even admits, that it's too late to change and go the right path.

Yusaku had spent the entire season wanting to get revenge on the Knights of Hanoi, but learned that Revolver was the boy who had encouraged him and helped him maintain his will to live while he was suffering during the Hanoi Project, so he forgave Revolver and wanted to start over and move on with their lives.

For me 1 5ds the flow of the story and duels are more reliable or should i say relatable if you ever play tcg or tag force plus turbo duel is cool 2 GX good awesome lots of variety of characters you can pick as your favourite all stories are good too many cards and archetypes which awesome the rise of duels and the concept especially the school is the best 3 Vrains make sense for the modern era of yugioh the combo they made is actually the combo you can do in real life plus make more sense for the speed duel since we have duel links and skills make more sense it feels like new ygo in modern time unlike sevens no no no 4 DM legend of course where we all start but to be honest the rules and cards effects are not settled yet so i put in number 4 well just think about the normal cards that has an effect in the anime ..
