As a Ghanaian living in Scandinavia, when I see African Americans and Ghanaians investing in Ghana , this is giving me the motivation to also invest in Ghana, and as we speak I am already establishing some private lands in Ghana close to the beachside, but I don't know if I also want to post videos on RUclips, because I am a shy man but, I love all the building RUclips from black Americans and Ghanaians
10:50 @kinzababe1 I can see you moving into this ground floor studio before the upstairs is ready. If the kitchenette was sorted or and outside kitchen was setup I could see you roughing it in your construction site already.
@kinzababe1 I think I said this at the beginning of the construction because its even better when you are present and it saves you the fuel cost of daily travelling back and forth. And it will put everyone else on check, because they know this that's why they slow you down on some things go get you delayed in moving in. But fixing the studio and getting a few basic things done isn't bad. Besides the kitchenette could be built even based on the kitchen items you have in the other house using the measurements of those appliances. Then they can build this kitchenette and you can move those in there instead of buying new items. Besides you already enjoying outdoor cooking with the coal pot, or you can also get a barrel barbecue on stand and use that for your multiple cooking outdoors because you can stand and work on it unlike our coal pot that you have to be lower all the time to cook, then until you sort your ground floor studio out. But best is when you move in them you will realise exactly what and how you want it. They can even build a walk in closet for you. I wish you could get both ground floor and apartment finished for your sons and family to visit you this Christmas for dirty December in Ghana, lots if. Activities and fun. I think it could even potentially make them feel attached and make them visit more often or even relocate in future and work remotely. Think about it. Can you make it happen?

@kinzababe1 I mean the fitters, not mechanics because they are not. This is why I was suggesting you check the vehicle before taking it there, else they will always find reasons for more jobs and extortion. Even remove parts from your vehicle to fit on others and make you buy replacement or sell you others parts instead as new, this is how bad some are, same as sone of the dealerships in the west.
@kinzababe1 remember untold you about the trade secrets. Abbosey Okai has great box specialist who could have taken it all apart and fixed the problem or even come and do it at home for you. You need to get a tracker in your car also to monitor if they aren't using it as a shop vehicle, check the odometer or mileage and fuel each time you go there. Because its ridiculous to take this long for such a minor thing. Because public transport is costly too. If they cannot do the job have them put things back together and get your vehicle out of there. Because you took it there in a drivable condition only for service not to take 2 weeks already with no progress.
@kinzababe1 but these guys you pay as caretakers and those working for you do they even have to wait for you tp tell them that water in the tank needs to go? Because its growing algae and breeding mosquitoes? Doesn't Vincent use his initiatives sometimes? Because this is so wrong for them to neglect things for you to tell them before they do it. Thry should know better this is way too dangerous for breeding mosquitoes. I will suggest you habe them empty that tank and wash it and put away for storage in one of the shops till you ready to use it. Because you have the borehole and running water. Because if he was serious that fish business will have started and it would have benefited him too. Spraying the place alone wouldn't get rid of mosquitoes if they don't get rid of the dirty breeding water in the tank because its also stagnant and perfect for mosquitoes.
These workers don’t understand I will explain more in my video today. I saw one of them drinking the water. I was done right there I emptied it myself. Vincent doesn’t want to work so he is no longer employed for me. I give him many chances but it looks like his head ain’t screwed on right or something. I was thinking the same thing about the fish business but he could not even follow simple instructions on feeding or changing the water. Same thing with the water in the tank he feels rain water it’s better than the borehole water. I don’t know where they educate themselves with these beliefs. 🙏🏿🫶🏾🇬🇭
@kinzababe1 Kinza, a lit is missing in our modern education system as the west interfere and control it so a lot of things are missing andnit thought properly, I was lucky my parents weren't rich but spent every nickel and dime to get me through one of the private schools to give me the best education as they could, but most attending the government or community schools lack a lot. Yes rain water is good when collected after a few minutes of rain and stored away properly, but not with the current pollution in the atmosphere, and directly collecting and drinking the immediate rain or collecting it and leaving it in the sun to form algae or bacterium. You need to understand a lot of these guys also come from the hinterlands or outskirts or deep villages where water is out of their reach and they rely on streams and rivers that they bath in them, washing with soap into them, collecting and drinking them without any treatment but some people at least boil before drinking, animals drinking and defficating into these water sources so they grew up under such conditions and to thier mentality see nothing wrong because this is how they grew up. So please try to be firm, its not because you are an American, even we as Ghanaian locals ourselves sometimes have to be firm because when some people get too close they start to feel entitled and their attitude changes. You say it once, if its not done the way you want it you stop the person immediately and send them away. And for those bosses that bring their apprentices and leave them to work without thier presence and thier supervision you tell them straight you aren't having that because this is when mistakes happen and it costs you a lot, so if they cannot be present they can't work. In Ghana and mist of Africa the apprentice doesn't get paid, they learn the job and work for free on the job and these bosses use them a lot, some even don't give them any incentives as it's done in the west, like pocket money, or money for food or provide food or transportation or perks. But rather just use them to work without thier responsibility. This is what also leads to some of them stealing on the job and more.
