Hi Ty, this pattern calls for worsted weight yarn. In the video description you can find the link to the pattern where all the info. is listed.
How many ch should I make to make it a little wider

What sizes yarn and hook tho?

You can definitely shorten the headband by a row or two to make it smaller.
U should do a tutorial with a loom I want this pattern but I’m not good with two sticks lol

yes, everything is up to max. It starts out good then fades. I love the pattern. made mine with two strands of Pure Angora, it is sooooo soft and fuzzy.
