Yes sir pablo has the most emotion in this song maybe because he was thinking of how much of a pain their group went through before they are realy heard.

Pablo was going thru depression true but also Stell, josh, Justin and even ken. They have been very open About life’s challenges. Justin talked about it during the concert in chicago, Stell was very emotional and crying during his birthday and Facebook live during the pandemic, Josh has been vocal about feeling like a loser all his life until sb19 and ken had a very hard year last year when his grandmother died and have cried multiple times on stage and in their social media live shows. I just really think Pablo has a very distinct and emotionally charged persona and it equates to this wonderful emotional performances. Also he is very deep thinker and I think that makes him such a great song writer. But i am so happy they all seem to be enjoying and in a the best place in their lives right now.
One thing about the Pilipinos singers , is they do not believe in lip singing period …. They have the most original and authentic voices in the world … it’s line every single home their like a bunch of singers !! That’s why their papular country when it comes with music talents …. Thank God for the internet , that finally the world have seen the so much music talents in the Philippines!!! So many people from different countries that have reacting the music talents from the Philippines. Specially now that the SB19 have come out for the world to see , and it’s opened up the Philippines real talents to the world …. Their the new era to explore what the Amazing voices real talents from the Philippines. Their just the best in my opinion!!! Not only they had the most hardest life experiences during their SB19 beginning of who they , their just the most humbled PPOP I’ve ever seen and the best that could ever happened in the Philippines… This very talents boys have it all !!! The backing track was definitely loud. This, if I'm not mistaken, was the first time they sang it live and in a newsroom. They also sang Freedom at the end of the interview and the mix was better. The Full interview has English subs and they talk about where they are at with 1Z Entertainment, their company.

I love reactors like you who are experts in music. Thanks so much for pointing out that rap/hiphop artists who obviously sing LIVE usually use their own back up vocals only as part of the music. ❤ A few tend to compare artists who sing ballad vs artists who do rap/hiphop genre, and somehow accuse the other of doing lipsynche even if the LIVE Vocals is so loud and clear. Even if the artist puts down his mic to let the back up vocals run like back up singers or music, and brings back the mic up to sing LIVE, some, tho only a few, refuse to see and listen that he always and really sings live. Ballads are sung word for word unlike rap/hiphop. I think EDM genre is also sung differently bcoz it's not as powerful as rap/hiphop but uses back track for the continuity of music. Each and every member of SB19 sings LIVE LIVE in all their performances whether solo or as a group. It just has to be noted that their solos have totally different genre.❤

Genius translations is not a 100% accurate. It is still best to watch their official MVs and LVs so you don’t miss the whole message of the song specifically SB19 songs. In Genius, I find some translations to be literal that it misleads the message of the song. Have to keep in mind that Pablo loves to play with words and writes poetically, so it is always best to get the translations direct from the source. If what you wanted is to concentrate on the music first without getting distracted, you may watch one of their live performances first before watching their official MV or LV bec their live performances, including Wishbus in the Philippines does not have subtitles. I would still suggest for you to watch the official LV of Ilaw (pronounced as E-lau) for you to get the whole message of the song.

Newsroom supposed to be just an interview but was ask to sing impromptu. Next song they sang was freedom and better mixed.
ILAW, (Light in English) is pronounced with a short " i " sound. Thank you for appreciating SB19. You should also try that with translation, its a beautiful song with a deep message.

They thought it's just an interview, Ken even said to his four colleagues "you aren't ready for this,are you",when the host ask them for a song, well,they just smiled to each other,because usually they'll do warm up before singing.

It’s easy to pronounce Filipino words. it’s a-e-i-o-u, ba-be-bi-bo-bu, ka-ke-ki-ko-ku etc.
Example
A is always pronounced like in Arm, but not Also (where a here is o - olso), not fAme, not
E - End, sEnd, but not hEr, not the 1st E in Even
I - Indigo, sing, but not time, not microphone
O - bOy, rOw, sOng, but not cOw, not tOwn
U - pUt but not Umbrella

This was supposedly an interview only event, but they were requested to sing, since unplanned what ever they have they made do to accommodate the request...well, they passed through it..🎉
I think some people are used to what a lot of people do, like for instance, reactors usually check out the videos w/ lyrics and expect you to do the same. But I think it’s important to also do your own thing or your own spin. I actually appreciate you listening to the song first and then doing the lyrics breakdown. For sure, you’ll receive more specific requests & comments, I hope you don’t get lost & just follow them just coz that’s what your viewers (who comment) wants. Ofcourse some comments are also helpful but don’t get swayed too much. Not saying don’t listen to it at all, but you know, it’s great to find a balance on what you want to do & what the viewers demands, also not all who watch comments. Always refer to those for English Translations instead Coz they are Official or made by SB19 or their team so they convey the true meaning of the Filipino lyrics better. Most English translations by other sources are so cringe and just bad or wrong ruining the song.

Filipino has ONLY five vowel sounds: A E I O U, read as: ah eh ee oh oo. There are no long vowel sounds or other pronunciation of the vowels. 'G' is a hard G like "gold". A double L sounds like the double L in "William" (Wil-yam). NG sounds like the NG in "language". Filipino is spoken the way it is written. As long as you remember the vowel sounds, the rest is a bit easier. While Filipino has incorporated foreign words, they are often re-spelled to sound exactly the way they are spoken. For example, the Spanish word for onions, "cebollas" was re-spelled into sibuyas (spelled based on how a word is pronounced) and used as a Filipino word. You could say that Filipino is a very phonetic language. Oh, and the spelling may vary between regions because of how they pronounce words.
This is an impromptu performance reason for the not perfect backing track. You can see/hear this on the next song too in Rappler, Freedom
