Papirosen ( Cigarettes)

Papirosen is a Yiddish song written in the 1920s. The song tells of the tragic tale of a Jewish boy who sells cigarettes on the streets. He loses hope after having lost his parents and his younger sister who died sleeping on a bench. The dance was choreographed by Ira Weisburd and Youav Ahriel.
