I really love to see folks with disabilities getting out there having a crack. Local member had a stroke but he's back to golf with some real issues but it is straight out uplifting to see him back.

Easy to forget your brother Dan, one of those things ! Why did Paul call Lester Eric ?? You need to tell the story behind the name on a Sunday Show depending on if its suitable before the watershed ! What did Lester look like ? Did he come straight from his 2nd job working on the bins ?? Mike's story just shows you how things can change totally in such a short space of time. He's done really well dealing with it, I wish I was as positive as him. Something I need to learn, especially at the moment when things are very hard. Today is exactly 1 year since my last round, can't wait until I can play again.

Winter at Bowood - you'll find that you'll see lots of worm casts on the fairways giving the impression that it more muddy than it really is. But as you can hear - Bowood is uber wet during the winter. And the greens a little faster than the season would suggest as the grass gets a little thin on these greens. The fairways are quite soft so the guys won't get much of a roll after the ball lands. Each hole has been designed to give the players a different challenge on each hole - so fairway bunkers either side - then double set in front of the green on 12. Bunkers in the middle. Long par 3's and 4's. And some super long 5's. Down hills up hills - anyway you get the idea of what it's like playing Bowood.
I would love to know Dans vetting process when getting new golfers on the channel because everyone he gets on are really nice guys, Mike, Lester, Lee, Peter , Paul, Wilber etc. It's scary how golf generally attracts decent human beings, If we could only let Dan be the interviewer for most governments the world may be a better place :) , Ohhh PS Lesters laugh is infectious lol
Loved the fact you forgot to introduce Dan’s brother at the start. Played Bowood on a golf society weekend a couple of years ago, fond memories won the team stableford.

It’d be really interesting to see some force plate work with Mike from a bio mechanical point of view considering he has no left quad or hamstring but can still hit a 5 iron 200 at the first par 3 even if it was down the chuff. I take it that power is all lats and core?

Maybe an answer for the Sunday show but at Bowood why did you all tee up approx. a club length ahead of the white tees hole 1 (10) because you must have been more than 2 behind of yellows. I see quite often in your vlogs that you guys are collectively relaxed about it... is this some sort of secret sign that you’re not playing for money or in serious competition?
In this situation we were trying to set up all the cameras but there was a big puddle just behind the markers so we couldn’t fit so we went forward slightly 👍
