When I recommended this series to my friends they wouldn't even bother to watch it, because they think that this series is boring. Too bad, it's their loss anyway😅😂. This was one of the best kdrama I've watched, the longer the story went on the more attached I became for every character

The neighborhood giving each other food and all is just like my childhood days, eating in the neighbor house and when a person got sick/die the whole neighborhood came together to help.I really like this series.Those days are gone now,we didnt even know whose our neighbor😂

One of the best dramas that ever made! But I really don’t understand why everybody so devastated when they learned who the husband is. This is the reality- If you don’t have the courage to do something and always stopping yourself, you will lose. This is life.

The bond was so strong, reinforced by daily interactions, it threw off his timing. The last episode showed a glimpse of Junghwan love for Deukseon, spread across years meaning it had weight and longevity, signs of true love. The other guy didn't have this, Junghwan did...everyday. It's difficult for a lot of people to come out publicly about their true feelings because as loving and vulnerable beings it's a task that needs time, implying this is SERIOUS business and not just some puppy love. I'm appalled you dismiss him so casually and hang your hat on the other guy.
R1988 shall be the best drama forever! Nothing can beat it, not even close. One drama that I know the script by heart, sometime I recited it before they do hahaha
Not to bring down,but I’ve preferred reply 1988 wayyy more than friends. The chemistry between each one of them,the long bickering fights between their parents,the comedic transition of jung bong and man ok and the moms,the emotional trauma I’ve gone through watching all these families especially dok seon and her family in the last part where they rewarded the father for his resignation ,bora and sun woo’s wedding scenes and the part when bora and her father bid each other a farewell with letters, every moments and scenes in this series were good for me and untouchable .

I started watching it last year, but i didn't finish it because the episodes are too long. But then when i finished it just a day ago, i burst in tears and got a hard time on sleeping thinking why did i even finish this, it hurts so bad. The whole series made me feel like i'm one of them and we did all of those memories together, and then at the ending, when they left ssangnum 1 by 1 i really felt my heart aches. I can't rewatch this and will never because i know i'll cry and cry again just like what i did last time. But, i'll consider this as one of my most favorite kdrama.
From the start, I know that its Taek as her husband.. But I really ship her with Junghwan, their scenes are cute and funny, my favorite is when they are riding the bus when she grab his shirt to have something to hold and all the buttons went off!! I died from laughing !! ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
Even after watching this lots of time, I still root for Taek. Jeong Hwan is a nice pick too but I do understand why Deok Sun ended up with Taek. He may be innocent, sensitive, weak and all but his courage is admirable.
Taek and Deok Sun were meant to be, they had to be together. She only started liking JungHwan after her friends pushed her to pursue him, but it was natural with Taek. It was him for her all along. The beach scene won my heart so much, I'm been Team Taek since then 💜
I find it boring when it started, but now I am in episode 13 for 2 straight days. The characters and the story is impeccable, heartwarming and realistic. Family+Friendship+neighbourhod=💓
nothing of significance happens in the first episode so it would seem boring to people watching for the first time but man from episode 2 or 3 it gets so fun that i hooks you with it (atleast thats what happened when me and my mom watched it)
The other characters like Ra Mi Ran, Kim Sajjang, Kim Jung Bong, Sung Bora, the two bestie really make this drama feel so attractive and lively. This drama always on top of my list ✋
1:46 got me hooked to this dramedy, hyeri was sooooo funny, she made me laugh and cried really hard. This kdrama grows on you that will make you miss them sooo much, it seems that you are part of their family. Beautifully written with stellar performances of all the actors involved

This is the BEST Kdrama I've watched to date. I laughed my ass off and cried my eyes out. Very, very relatable as well. Great acting and storylines made this tv show highly addictive. Plus each episode was movie-length but didn't feel drawn out .. LOVED IT! .

This show is so heartwarming i love it so much, and apparently its the producer's style : heartwarming; dark humour; animal sounds loll, i mean i've watched the other masterpiece that he made : prison playbook and it definitely has the same style and signature WHICH I REALLY LOVEEEE!!! I guess this drama is one of those few dramas i didn't have 2nd lead syndrome... I believe junghwan finds someone that's meant for him.. But i really root for taek and duk seon they really had that sparkling chemistry.. You will find junghwan loves duk seon soo much but can you guess that caring nature duk seon has towards taek, did you also notice taek loves duk seon so much, he doesn't hesitate in his love unlike junghwan, although this drama shows more scenes of junghwan's love, deep down i know taek loves as much as junghwan loves duk seon ❤️❤️
That's the beauty of it. Both the friends sacrificed their first love for their friendship. None of them made their move for several years. And Doek Suna too, to save their friendship from awkwardness, she pretends nothing happened between her and Choi Taek when he kissed her. When Jung Hwan told her not to go for blind date when she asked him. The purity of friendship 😭😭😭 the sacrifices they made for it. One of the best k drama.

Taeki all the way. So as early as episode 2 there are a lot of hints about him being the husband already. Like when he went to smoke but then in episode 1 or 2 sunwoo told her mother that junghwan doesn't smoke. And then in episode 2 also when deukson told their parents that he sent taek to borrow some comics.. So it's been Choi Taek from the very start..

Prison playbook. Might have a rough start (same with R1988, especially if you are new to kdrama) but it will creep slowly into your heart without you knowing it. Same PD. Ansamble of awesome cast. Touching stories and bittersweet moment. And an added bonus of the oh-so-out-of-this-world Capt. Lee hahaha....
I am watching this series now. I am loving it and got attached to every character.Now that I know Deokson will not end up with Junghwan, I want to stop in episode 12.😁 I'm not sure of I could handle the heartbreak seeing Deokson with Taek.

Just recently got addicted so much in this drama somehow it's unique in other drama though it's just simple yet depics precious values family and friendship we most doesn't have now in new generation...

Just finished watching for second time and I’m here on RUclips looking for behind the scene . Can’t get over with this I’m crying and hurt for junghwan but knowing that they’re dating in real like I’m satisfied and happy . And most of all I miss the goat 🐐 😂

I just finished watching this drama and now, I can't move on. Eventhough this drama is a bit long, but it's worth it. I feel very sad at the last episode. 😢😢

This show is so heartwarming i love it so much, and apparently its the producer's style : heartwarming; dark humour; animal sounds loll, i mean i've watched the other masterpiece that he made : prison playbook and it definitely has the same style and signature WHICH I REALLY LOVEEEE!!! Definitely craving for some moreeee
I guess this drama is one of those few dramas i didn't have 2nd lead syndrome... I believe junghwan finds someone that's meant for him.. But i really root for taek and duk seon they really had that sparkling chemistry.. You will find junghwan loves duk seon soo much but can you guess that caring nature duk seon has towards taek, did you also notice taek loves duk seon so much, he doesn't hesitate in his love unlike junghwan, although this drama shows more scenes of junghwan's love, deep down i know taek loves as much as junghwan loves duk seon ❤️❤️
That's the beauty of it. Both the friends sacrificed their first love for their friendship. None of them made their move for several years. And Doek Suna too, to save their friendship from awkwardness, she pretends nothing happened between her and Choi Taek when he kissed her. When Jung Hwan told her not to go for blind date when she asked him. The purity of friendship 😭😭😭 the sacrifices they made for it. One of the best k drama.
This is my favorite of all the reply sequels. Super love it!

Taeki all the way. So as early as episode 2 there are a lot of hints about him being the husband already. Like when he went to smoke but then in episode 1 or 2 sunwoo told her mother that junghwan doesn't smoke. And then in episode 2 also when deukson told their parents that he sent taek to borrow some comics.. So it's been Choi Taek from the very start..

Reply 1988 is epic 💕💕💕💕This is my number 1 k-drama. Taking us back to memory lane. Just finished rewatching it for the 100th time. This is a treat to you during this lockdown. But really feel bad for Jung Pal 💔, it's a relief they are dating in real life.

Prison playbook. Might have a rough start (same with R1988, especially if you are new to kdrama) but it will creep slowly into your heart without you knowing it. Same PD. Ansamble of awesome cast. Touching stories and bittersweet moment.
And an added bonus of the oh-so-out-of-this-world Capt. Lee hahaha....
