Moi Dala your cable looks like a wise way to test battery packs. In the electrical maintenance field companies like Siemens make a remote cable so a 5 Kv 3 phase breaker can be tested out of the power cell. A 5 Kv breaker is about the size of an large electric cook range. If you place the test battery beside the vehicle if something goes wrong and the battery blows up you can deal with a controlled problem and not smoke a car. From Ontario Canada Craig Clayton
He's going deep, impressive! I wonder if it's a better business model for someone to buy 60s and convert them to 90s or 120s to resell. The resale on 60s should continue to drop drastically.
I have 60Ah + Rex and it would be a very nice option to have 120Ah + Rex :) Unfortunately, there is no service in the area that would carry out such a change, bigger batteries for sale at the closest 2500km in Lithuania, but maybe something will change in this matter in the near future :) Time to start putting aside EUR for such an operation :) It would be nice if someone could develop a modification or replacement of the charger so that instead of 6.5kW they could charge 11kW in older i3 models.Greetings from Ireland.
That would be something 😅 But I guess the i3 is one of the cars that don't need an extender battery when the Rex is available! 120Ah+rex should be enough for anyone? 😁
Ha, I'm imagining a silly franken-i3 with a second battery pack sitting in the back seats. When the first pack runs down, just plug in the second one with the extension cords and off you go

Hi Dala. Amazing info as always, thanks. I was wondering if you have had to open an i3 battery pack to replace components such as the SME and safety box? More specifically, I have heard that if the battery pack is opened, there is some kind of pressure/vacuum sensor or system which somehow checks that the lid forms a complete seal and that this system may need to be reset or something before the battery pack will operate again. Can you confirm or deny? Thanks!
I have an i3 94 range extender, is it possible to upgrade the battery pack to a 120? Have you done this? Would be interesting to know the new performance figures for the upgrade.
Yes, the toilet seat is a very intimate affair, and everyone buys one that suits him. Someone is sitting on a toilet seat of the 21st century, others are using a Turkish toilet.

Do you consider to try create a chademo to ccs adapter? I know that this is not easy, but it will be so so great future for all the Leaf's.
Czech 0:35 this kit out

Hi, if you have a locked battery, best to contact Havrla and have them reset it for you! That way you don't need to open the battery.
Hey Dala, thanks for your reply! Opening the battery is unavoidable as the safety box needs to be replaced. What do you mean by “locked”? Thanks!
