These Yarn Cornrows are by far the best thing about hair I have learnt! Well, thats after 'Pre-Poo'
But really, these will change your life.
it is very easy on kids, as i did this on my daughter and there was no single complain, she was calm throughout!

Oh my God this is super amazing and i think its also safe for the edges unlike the pulling that we always do when having our hair plaited..this is a must try.
Katty Dee my daughter’s edges were damaged and this technique kept them tamed but softly. Definitely give it a try 😍

I absolutely love and adore the yarn cornrows for the children. All the many years I empathized with children who’s moms did the added hair braids and the child had to sit for hours. I’d say that it was like punishing them and the hair was pulled so tight that you couldn’t blame the child if they had an attitude. But this style is light and less harsh on the hair and scalp. Very nice looking too.❤️
Kathy I agree with you! Even my daughter could never sit still even when I did her hair softly, but as you can see in this video, with this style it was painless and she was very excited. This the perfect remedy for all kids ❤️❤️ thanks for watching 😘

Your work is beautiful, I tried this technique on my granddaughter who is EXTREMELY tender headed and there was NO pain, thank you so much and on the next video would you please slowly show the technique of adding the yarn to the braid from the base of the neck to the end of the braid. Thanks again

Omg I have to try this on my son's hair which is butt length and I can't cornrow it as it ties up. Also I think cornrow in general breaks hair through all the tugging. This is tug free and no weaving of the hair. Amazing

Not at all, I wore this style for a month and it’s the most gentle on edges I’ve ever had

The only concern is retaining moisture.
It wasn’t bad in my case, but I see how this could expose the hair to the climate
Spritz lightly with glycerin and water mixture or curl activator every day. Keep scalp moisturized. Research glycerin and you'll see it is a humectant. Great for use in hair and skin care. Thank you for this tutorial😃

Very talented hands and neat work... I wanted to try it on my daughter because I'm not blessed in the braiding department. However, I'm afraid of taking her edges out and causing stress to her roots. Can you let us know if she retained her growth and moisture (if any)? Also, update us on the take down process. Until next time, I'll continue doing large individual braids/ twist and styling when going out.
M J thanks you... this was gentle on her edges and it protected them nicely... if you watch my other video where I have compared the threads, I have talked about the effect on edges and how the thread you use will give you different results. I also already have a detailed takedown video on my channel.. overall I hope you have a great experience with it
