@@rlpatton1970 Its more busy and active than Deckers but definitely not as zesty as Foxton. It's a shame it's not a couple of miles longer, it would be a classic if it was.

Thanks for the kind words! Definitely take two cars or you hike a lot more than what's worth it. Drop one car at the lower Cheesman Canyon Fishermens Lot, shuttle up to the Upper Cheesman Lot. Not the one closest to the lake, but the upper lot. Hike in 1.8 miles to the put it below the gauging station weir. Don't run the weir. First gorge has a slot drop, two easy rapids, and then a portage. Paddle the next 3.5ish miles and takeout at the fence line to the Wigwam Club property. Hike out to your car 0.8 miles. Don't boat into Wigwam Club property, not worth it. It's a great easy adventure loop!

Just bought a Solstice Flare 1 and will mainly be running easy rivers (Class 1 and 2) but some have lot's of rock shallow bottoms. How has your Kayak held up so far? Patches? Air valves? Does it track decent without skeg? With skeg? Love your videography.

@@glenpetersen9030 Thanks for watching and the kind words! The Flare is a good boat. I had one for six years and took it down 1,500+ miles on two continents, 30+ first descents in Vietnam. It took scraping along a piece of volcanic glass to finally cut it, and it also got my buddies (non Solstice) boat too, so it wasn't a lack of quality on my boat issue. On my second one now, a year in and I love it. My favorite boat I've ever owned!
