I bought one 4 years ago and love it Woodcoat green great car no Power steer and I dont notice, I have other cars with much heavier steering. Full stainless steel exhaust and hi flow cats' amazing sound, think only 200 in Australia but New Zeland has 30, parts are fully available in UK as most of the Japan sold units have been rescued and there are remanufacture panels leather and wood trim available now. thanks for the Video the red is cool.

I couldn't help but notice that all those Aston's, RR's and Bentleys in boring safe colours, put that Red on anyone of them and bam.
I am loving this flame red on the RV8, never seen it before now.
Thanks for the vid shame about some of the sound though.

Cool video about a very cool car. Looking forward to seeing the video on how to import one to the US as they are just getting old enough. This has always been a car I’ve wanted to get

@@1776mikew bear in mind that the ones on Duncan are Japanese example and do not have the fog lights that come with those from the UK, I believe Japanese RV8’s also come with air conditioning.

I’m thinking of buying one but heard they aren’t very good for tall people? I’m 6’3 (190cm). Would I fit in it with the roof up?? Thx!

Very interesting car. British style, emulating American muscle, eye turning, collectible, simple engineering, unique, and somewhat reliable. The only downside may be parts availability.

Well, the parts are hard to get here but very easy to get in the UK so it’s really a question of shipping costs.

The best POSERS CAR IN THE WORLD The Mazda M-X 5 has out sold the MG B Worldwide This car would be better if a bigger engine than the Rover ( Oldsmobile 215 cubic inch) was offered like a Chevy 283 or Ford 289 both more reliable than the Rover

michaelnaisbitt....,.The motor in this car is 3.9ltrs & more than adequate for it.Trying to restomod it with a larger motor is a self-defeating exercise......where are you going to use it......the fuzz would crawl all over you. The MGR V8 is what is & does it well.If you don't like it go & get a Mazda MX5 & stuff a Lexus motor in it & try & do a remake of the theory of "irresistable force meeting an immoveable object". I think there are a small number here in Australia, known as a "Bullitt MX5".If you get to drive one in anger the last thing you'll see is your arse...,...

Using cart springs instead of updating to a 4-link and coils was just lazy and cynical.
