Excellent presentation, Alan. I loved that movie. Marisa Aleba's performance was impressive, especially considering she was not a singer. I also love Angelina Jordan spontaneously covering Back To Black with pianist Aurelien Froissart in London's St. Pancras Station. She turned heads and stopped traffic.
Some things are inevitable. Angelina and her music are two of those things, and greatness is the inevitability. Inevitability, unfortunately, doesn't mean tomorrow. I just hope I'm around to share in the pleasure of her recognition when that date with destiny does arrive.

Great idea and compilación, Alan! To be honest, I didn't care much for the movie or Marisa's voice in it. We also have to take into account it must have been heavily remastered and even so... Amy is Amy, untouchable, the original singer/songwriter. And now we come to Angelina. What to say about her that we haven't already! All her Amy covers have been amazing, always with her personal, unique touches that respects Amy but sets her apart in her own lane. Angelina is well on her way of becoming a superstar, it's only a matter of time as you said. But WE KNOW that she's one of a kind as an artists and as a person 🥰
OK, this was not supposed to be a comparison of the three singers. But I can't help but see the incredible talent of Angelina. I may get flack for saying this, but she is at the same level of Amy Whitehouse in covering her songs. In fact, Angelina can sing a broad range of repertoires; for example. AJ and covers Adele very well.
Great compilation, Alan! What strikes me is how Angelina brings something very characteristic of her own to each song. I agree with you on the song “Tears dry on their own”: it deserves more appreciation. I was really surprised she sang it at her Sandefjord, Norway concert, which we both attended.
