Mega man DOS looks like a typical turbo button issue. It was probably intended to run at the clock speeds of an 8086.

42:19 I'm very surprised to hear about this from you as a Mega Man fan, because this mechanic was in all original MM games - when you press forward, you make a tiny step by exactly one pixel before you start running, it was added for precision platforming

I would kill for a Mega Man Legends Legacy Collection. I'm not the biggest Mega Man fan, but I adore the Mega Man Legends series for some reason. Maybe for that Dungeon crawl type of gameplay.
