Secrets to Mastering Scales on the Bass

For many beginners, learning scales can be a confusing endeavor. I can remember being overwhelmed and with the process and I don't want that for you.
In this video I hope to give you some insight on what to focus on when learning the Major scale and how it can relate to creating bass lines over chords.
The focus here is internalizing the concept of scale "degrees" or "intervals" which leads us to understanding chords and the notes that make up chords. When we understand the basics to chords, where on our way to talking the common language of musicians.
This is just a beginning and hopefully will help you see how you will be "using" scales as you progress. I'll do more videos connecting the scales and chords within the major scale
