Because its shit normal people feel too and rock is about confrontation and acknowledgment of all the dark and twisted things people actually feel that mainstream pop culture/media/society would rather choose the ignorance is bliss route. No ones actual happy & peachy keen 100% of the time. Or fuck even 1% of the time for some ppl! And rockstar or not they still go thru similar shit the average joe does and its therapeutic to face ur demons head on and acknowledge their power over you. Good rock music shares a intimate story of someone doing just this. 🙌
