    Pro tip, clean the outside of the pump before pulling it apart. Also, if you don’t want to use a bearing puller, put a magnet through a socket that fits on top the the retainer then push down the on the spring, the magnet will pull the retaining clips out.

    I dealt with those little seals (or at least very similar) when helping a buddy do his valve stems on his c6 vette. Glad I'll have "some" experience going into this lol. Nice write up

    Thanks a lot you really helped me, even provided the torque specs for the M10 bolts on the housing. I broke my stock retainer trying to remove it with my bearing separator. Luckily my press got it out!

    Great video, I had mine done by OstarMotorsports while doing some maintenance, didn’t cost me too much, you need to do some 0-60 after the full E85, I spun all first gear and still manage to do a 3.6s on 80 degrees, while doing 3.8s with no spin on E30 on my heavier S3, I do run the stratified dsg instead of the Eqt because the lower rpms LC I keep getting more consistent results, plus I like it much better on D mode.

      @@haku107 you need to cut them off and put on a new one. They are not re-useable. Cut the ear with a pair of side cutters.

    Hi! Great video. I am considering this upgrade since the oem one is limiting my tune to 380hp. However the 50% more wear on the camshaft is where I'm considering if I actually need more hp or not. What is your experience with the car after this upgrade? Any issues or potential worries? Thanks a lot!

    Another great vid. 1 question, My MK7 R is EQT Stage 2. Will this modification
    require an adjustment to the custom tune to recognize its full potential? I am not
    running E85 fuel. Any thoughts is appreciated.

    • @EVERYTHINGcpo
      @EVERYTHINGcpo  2 года назад

      I don’t know what size other than “mini”. I would imagine any of the sets that have a small one would probably work. I know some of them are large and that would not work too well.

      If it’s not working properly you’ll likely know pretty quick. Massive fuel cuts at wot. But the best way is look for the increase in rail pressure psi in the logs.
