A very good presentation by the radiologist Dr Anuradha with unnecessary interruption by Ruchika.Sometimes , it is important to leave it to the presenter without interrupting the yhought process of the presenter. A useful session to Primary physicians where exposure is less.Forget about Hi Fi hospitals.
This could be so primitive for west because (1) almost 99 % of CT and MRI are read on PACS--no films. (2) ALl the studies r sent on PACS with adequate history---you forgot to mention the importance of it.(3) The image on PACS (or film) has parameters like TR, TE, flip angle....means MRI and if the parameters are KVP, mA, mAS....means CT. That is how u differentiate...in PACS, each study has a denomination under which a study shows up at Rad's wk-station specific for any modality.
