Verified Purchase from Amazon comments: Bought this so we could take it touring in the camper van and to put in our bell tent.It warms the tent up in no time and being able to watch the flames from the side panel is great. It is good to cook on but unfortunetly after 6 months use ours has buckled on the top by the flu which means when we put a pan or kettle on it does not sit flat on the stove so takes a lot longer to cook or boil anything. Also the glass side panel shattered on ours, contacted the seller who was initially reluctant to replace the glass but eventually agreed which is good as its expensive, was told they are using stronger glass now.I asked about the buckling on the top but was told this can happen which I am not happy about as when I read the information before buying it states this should not happen.I would love to have given it 5 stars as we love it but for cooking on its not great due to the buckling.
Really interesting to read you read your comment. FYI, I am a user of the product, I'm not associated to them in anyway. That aside, I have used mine flat out for quite some time and have not seen the same issues. I wonder if it is specific to the single item you have or not. I hope the sort it out for you. If not, heat it up and take to it with a rubble mallet to correct the buckling. Assuming it buckles down and not up, it shouldn't be an issue for cooking.
I am looking to use this stove or a stove like this in my camper van during the winter months. Did you try it out inside of your van or only in your tent?
@@DaisyDoesIt just be careful what you buy. I purchased this one specifically as it doesn’t leak smoke as that would kill you in a closed space. I have used mine in and out of the tent. The oven doesn’t heat up as much if it’s cold outside or a wind blowing, but it’s still good 👍
years later I still love this oven and wouldn’t change a thing. And as far as that water tank, having it wrap around behind the pipe, leaves room for cooking on the stove that a kettle would take up.

Hi Ian, just wondering if you have had any warping on the stove anywhere. How often have you used it and would you recommend as it has a significant price tag and am concerned that it may warp.
Hey mate, sorry, I have only just seen your message from a while back. Short answer is yes. Very sightly the top has con-vexed. Not much but a tiny bit. It doesn't effect anything, I still cook on the top of it with a cast iron pan etc. I have used it a lot! spent last week out in a camp where I catered for 8 people each evening, using the oven and the stove to cook on. Its great!! The only addition that I would suggest if you are going to use it in a tent, is the double wall pipe section. This was better than I thought it would be. It didn't just insulate the stove jack from the heat, it also sealed the tent off from the weather and also holds the flue nice and tight from moving around. Again, I would not hesitate to order from these guys again if I was to make the decision over. Cheers Hurls

You should have got the pipe oven and is far as that huge tank a simple water kettle works just fine.
