- Sam wakes up and Jason tells her about the baby. Later, he finds her at the nursery looking for her baby. Jason tells Sam about holding her baby and she asks him to call the funeral home. Alexis comes and tells Sam about the stem cells. Sam accuses Alexis of killing her baby. Jason tells Alexis to stay away from Sam. Jason and Sam talk about the baby and the stem cells. Sonny comes in and talks to Sam.

I love "Her face was shaped like yours". That is one of the best lines ever because there's a familiarity and love in that line. He knows her so well that he knows the shape of her face. I think I love them!!
Sam's reaction brings tears to your eyes. You feel for her, and all the things that she has gone through
notice everytime sam wakes up in a hospital she calls for jason. i even remember one time she called for jason when they werent speaking. kelly is such a great actress
Alexis, Alexis, Alexis. I love when Jason charges in and tells her to stay away from Sam. Breaks your heart when you think a year and a half later, he walks away from him and lets Alexis take over, dear gawd above!
jason is so nice, kind and supportive of sam.. I think jason is the one that helped her threw everything that happen

'You saved the daughter you WANTED.' I felt bad for Sam during then entire video, but right there my heart just broke.
I wonder how differently this all would've played out if alexis knew that sam was her daughter and the baby was her granddaughter.

Oddly enough, today Jason and Sam would have been considered common law married at that time.
as sad as this was, jason was so great and amazing to her. now, its like sam is the last person he ever thinks about. i dont think that sam's whole world should revolve around jason or vice versa, but they need to have romantic scenes. they are a great couple and deserve a chance to really display that to all of the viewers.
She was 28 here. May 23, 1976 is Kelly's birthday but yea your right she looks a lot younger
Steve and kelly give 100% in these scenes and more after in thier love story through out the years on gh even now that he is back on gh again as tge real Jason
How has Kelly never won an award? She should've gotten one for this miscarriage for sure!

It's because on AMC the Actress Bianca took it because he baby miraculously brought her out of he coma.. which was great but not as near emotional or great a story as this. I watched almost all the soaps but really Steve and Kelly deserved it.
It's that "beautiful how" that hurt me like just beautiful wasnt enough she needed details she wanted to picture. Gosh I can't imagine going through this but I got a glimpse through Kelly's performance
Even though it wasn't Alexis' fault that Sam's baby died, there is this little thing called timing. There was NO REASON for Alexis to thank Sam for the stem cells so soon after she woke up. Sam had just lost her daughter. Who would want to know that someone elses daughter survived when your daughter died?

I really thought that after all Jason did for Sonny by giving up Carly and the baby (Michael) that this time Jason would finally have his family with Sam and her baby with Sonny but I guess that if and when Sam gets pregnant with Jason's child then it will all be worth it and this way Jason and Sam can finally get want they so desperately want and needed. A family of their own.

Especially since Sonny decided to screw Emily, forcing Jason to take over the business. I would have loved to have seen how Sonny would have reacted when Jason and Sam kept baby Lila from him!

javon lambert sam and jason had a love story him and liz not so much i dont think it was a love story with them they did have lots of chemistry between them and the looks were omg but nothing like sam and jason
The writers missed the better storyline. It would have been great to see Sonny deal with Jason and Sam raising his daughter and not having any input.
Simular to what Carly and Sonny have been doing to Ava up until recently.
That wouldnt of happened tho. Sonny even said he would never let it happen and Jason said he would never let the child go through a custody battle again

No wonder Sam's babys stem cells matched the baby was related to both alexis & sonny. That was kristinas half sister & her niece. Wild ! Wonder how alexis would have felt If she knew it was her granddaughter. Some dilemma bc alexis adores danny she loved that boy so much as a baby. So many scenes of her & danny. Maybe bc he was the only davis boy. Reminds me of the Cramer's on oltl when jack was born he was the first blood cramer
No, not at all. Alexis and Sam did not find out they were mother and daughter until 2006 due to Alexis having her at 16 and Mikkos making her think her baby was dead. Alexis and Sonny were never married or in a real relationship so Sam would not be his daughter. I hope I answered your question.

I say she was because they just came from the dr and the baby and everything was just fine. Alexis fights with her and all a sudden her baby is dead. I call BS on Steven Lars lol..
They are undifferentiated cells, that make up a embryo, placenta and umbilical cords. They can modify themselves and can become any cell in the body.
That Liason thing was just crap...I can't even watch it..I tried...they're just all out of character during that time..but it is a soap..

@couturebabex33 well i especially don't like her in these scenes and the ones leading up to this. she was always out for sam and she said some really awful things to and about her, little did she know that she was her daughter. plus all she cared about was her own daughter even before the baby died. she's selfish and she thinks she can control everyone and everything...like what she says or thinks matters to any1. she's still like that till this day...maybe not as bad but she's still controlling
How come Alexis talks to Sam like she is not her daughter.
At that time nobody knew a few years later and they found out and that it was a mess with Alexis behavior and Sam getting shot
i dont think alexis meant anything by it, she was trying in some way to help sam grieve and assuage her own guilt even thought alexis shouldn't feel guilty. It was unfortunate for sam because i wanted her to be a mother.

fashguru07 Alexis is guilty she cause the stress to Sam by forcing her to agree to induce labor. No matter how spontaneous a/p is if Sam had been home resting with Jason it would not have happened. Alexis was guilting her and blaming Christina possible death on Sam, that’s a lot of pressure and stree for a pregnant woman.

If this wasn’t soap. You would believe this was Sam’s destiny. To be brought to P C with Jax. First, she was to get pregnant with this child with Sonny.. So her journey was to save her baby sister. Still not knowing she is Kristina big sister.
I don’t have a problem with what Sam said to Sunny, but I do have a problem with what she said to Alexis. Firstly, with sunny, as soon as he got back together with Carly, it was basically like Sam who? Sam really? (Re-watching these now that I know her history), kindness doesn’t work, so Alexis did whatever she wanted so that she can make sure her child lived and Sam‘s baby died, yet it was perfectly OK (in a moment of weakness Sam’s word) that she could stand by and watch a child get kidnapped by a mentally unstable woman just because she was so hurt that Jason broke up with her and she couldn’t stand how badly he hurt her? I get it she was angry, but now that I know her history, that doesn’t justify anything. Now, as I said before, no one deserves the pain of losing a child, and Kelly Monaco really rocked the scenes!
This story was after this so that is invalid statement.

Sonny and Alexis never dated. They had a one night stand... but Sam is Alexis daughter she had when she was 16..but nobody knows that at this time but boy when sonny finds out his reaction is priceless. Sonny just has a kid with both Sam and Alexis ( mother and daughter) would of been even more awkward if Sam's baby survived tho.
