- Just as the church treasurer was arguing with Eric about not having enough funds to keep the Wednesday service, Simon accidentally shoots a golf ball through his car windshield.
Simon is lucky he wasn't arrested and that his parents weren't sued.
An 11 year old isn't going to be arrested for accidentally breaking a window and Annie said they would take care of it so there is no reason to sue.

Yes Simon you got lucky there your clubs got taken away your parents could have got sued but Lou was kind enough not to go any further.

Kids are kids and stuff happens with them around. Don't like it? Don't become a mother. Just hope you aren't graced with any. Or pets, for that matter...
@@oleplanthafer7034 I am fully aware that stuff happens with kids. I work with small children all the time. That doesn’t mean that I would let my kids get away with breaking the rules and destroying someone’s property
@Mallory Weeks: if you don't differentiate between accidents (which this was) and willful harm, you should not be around kids.

@@oleplanthafer7034 I do know that. I also know that if I told my son not to bring something and he brought it anyway then he would be in trouble. I wouldn’t spank my kids but I would also tell him that if I told him not to do something and he did it anyway then he would be grounded. Please don’t try and tell me that I wouldn’t be a good mother for grounding my kids when he does something that he isn’t supposed to do. I love kids and would teach him/her that you can’t just do what you want because you can’t wait a little longer to do what you want.
The thing i disliked most about this show was that Simon NEVER got a well deserved azz whooping from his parents

On the contrary. It wasn’t improper. There was a moral to the episodes. Like in this one, don’t play with golf clubs anywhere but a course or a practice cage. And not stealing. If I remember correctly and I usually do, Lou was taking the money he said wasn’t there for the Weds service and he and his wife were using it to pay for care for their developmental ly disabled son.
@@kellyolson1952 Just a shame they never had an episode about not diddling little kids, the dad could've used that. I'm just glad they covered things like how weed ruins people's lives as it's known to do constantly, leading to psychosis, insanity, cheeto addiction, and even DEATH.
