I've always wondered what would happen if you somehow dealt 400 damage to him. Not possible normally due to time constraints, but maybe modding the cards to have 100 attack could work
Well, as a programmer i'm almost 100% sure that... Nothing will happens. Maybe the number becomes negative or it stays at 0 while the cinematic/game continues normally
@@AgloKlaus yeah that is my expectation since the makers most likely designed it knowing full well it is impossible. Would still love to see someone try just for the science.

He’s an uncaring teacher to the students who are devoted to him, he puts them through the most torturous “tests” imaginable without any hope of reward or relief, and if you look closely at this very segment, the painting that his reoccurring apprentice made for him is there, but with the apprentice in question painted over so it’s only him on the portrait. THEN he has the nerve to bring up that apprentice solely to try and guilt trip Luke into stopping the erasure of Inscryption so that he can live after everyone else has been erased. He’s one of the only Scybes who never acts against us, but that doesn’t make him any less of a bastard in my eyes.
@@CaptainRed1000 I guess if you look at it like that he sounds terrible. But if you look from his perspective it is clear that he is trying to let inscription continue just like Leshy is. If there is ever a sequel/DLC to it I hope that we start with magnificus. Maybe we will play as that Asian guy I can’t remember the name of.
I think this proves Magnificus as the worst DM. 'Heres a duel disk ripoff, now play a game with my broken crappy mechanics to see who can deal 400 damage first, with crappy uncanny visuals and card design and you should feel honored to play with him'
to be fair, he's playing with the scraps of what wasn't deleted yet, so we didn't get to see him at Full DM Power but then again his mode also had Exodia and that would be so impractical in this format and it's a waste of sigils
@Bluespirit i think what characterises magnificus is greed without ambition. He doesnt especially work to claim the entire world for himself, but he hates losing what he has more than anything, and abuses what he has rather than using it as a platform for more. So as a DM i think that would translate to a quite unfair and repetitive game. Rand events destroying your rare cards because he can. The boss he already decided would be super important can’t be OTKed or he steps in and changes the rules.
You know, I've always wondered how practical playing with a duel disk actually is... Since you need two hands to play cards (one to hold the cards in your hand, the other to place each card down), wouldn't this mean that your "card-hand" hand, would also be the one the duel disk is strapped to, since your free hand has to be the one to play the cards?
well what i imagine you could do is providing the disk has a way to prevent cards from falling off (like the irl yugioh ones) you can hold your hand of cards in the left hand, the one with the disk, use your other hand to take out the card you wish to play and place it on the disk
Here is how i assume it works , You put your right hand in a horizontal line next to your chest , you put the disk on the mid part of your arm and it makes a line from your wrist to your elbow And just before it reaches your elbow it twists a little, and you hold your cards in the same hand you hold the disk with while using your free hand to take out, put down and manage the cards in your hands Tho , this will require the disk to be a bit smaller, or maybe otherwise it will just stab your elbow
I actually had a duel disk as a kid bc I was into yugioh! It’s not as awkward as you’d think, though I do remember my arm getting tired (but then again I was like… 7 or 8 or something) The deck is supposed to be held down with a sort of clip where to draw you press on the deck first, I think? I can’t actually remember Though since this is a video game, I’d say the details can be a lil fudged!
