Would have bought this arrma, but most i asked said buy the 4s kraton not the 6s. - hope i do not regret my choice as i picked up the slime green Kraton v2.5 and a bunch of parts to get it bash worthy❤
I knew that mesh was gonna get you, that happened to me at a bash site a couple of months ago. The mesh was in the ground and couldn't see it. Im a big fan of keeping these types of RC's nearly 100% stock, keeping their original weight= keeping the intended and tested engineering, it's funny how all of these folks pushing these heavy overpriced "upgrades".
I definitely agree that keeping them light helps durability. I had all the stock parts on but later I found out the grub screw in the pinion was broken and not holding well so no biggie. I’m a big fan of nylon parts though. They flex like crazy and very very rarely do they break. The metal upgrades look good but they don’t work out too well for bashing.

No worries you’ll enjoy it. I prefer the 6s but I also just like bigger cars. They’re all fun though

What type of lock tight are you using with your pinion gear.
Red. I figured out the issue was the grub screw. It was stripped and wouldn’t tighten down all the way so it kept wiggling loose
