Great little video about TV and movie tie-in toys. Usually when I watch these things, the word 'vintage' means 1980s or 1990s (which, as far as I'm concerned, was last week and the week before), so it's nice to see some toys from my era, the 1960s and '70s. The Batmobile, S.H.A.D.O. Interceptor and Eagle Transporter were the best toys ever - still are, in fact.
Lovely trip down memory lane. I've still got my Dinky Thunderbird 2 and 4 in blue with red legs and recently got Sixteen 12's Retro UFO Interceptor too. Love the Anderson toys as much as the shows themselves
The Space 1999 toys really hit me, as a 54 year old these were played with as a child a lot and sadly weren’t kept and ended up being given away! I wish I had kept them, I’m in Peterborough so hoping to visit the store soon.
What a blast from the past. Back in the late sixties/early seventies the local pharmacy had a big glass display case for the larger Dinky vehicles and they had a nice variety of Gerry Anderson related properties (which were relegated to Saturday morning tv here in Canada).
I very much enjoy and appreciate your videos. I get inspired to go in and work in my toy room ,but then I start finding things I forgot I had,so then I make a bigger mess. I live in the U.S. and I'm jealous of my step daughter because she is moving to the U.K. at the beginning of next year, but it's a good thing I'm not going with her as I would go broke if I had access to your store . Unless I've missed it, I would love to see your personal collection. How 'bout doing that video?
We’ll perhaps cover that in a future video. Gav’s collection is vast and most of it is in storage. Joe’s collection is an oddball mix of stuff so that would be reasonably easy to do. Great idea. Thanks for your support 👍👏👏
bit harsh on the TR 7 lads! a real classic both in full scale form and die cast form, my die cast is the red one(not purdeys car), a fine selection, i have many of them myself
My absolute favourite collectibles. Thanks so much .
The nostalgia hit hard with this one.

Ace!
Fantastic collection guys, by the way Batmobiles are pretty simple to restore once you’ve done a few 👍😉
Really love these vids such nostalgic memories…I had like many others a bat mobile and many of the superman cars…and the yellow 2cv 🙌🏼
Back in the day I had 2 Shado mobiles, one had the missile system the other was a radar dish , that radar one I rarely see anymore.
6:50 Gav: Everyone rush in and buy that one.
Joe: No mobiles, no Walkman's, none of that or any of the other stuff.

Hey guys, what kinda price are the Interceptor please?
They all vary depending on which version. The loose ones start around £55 each
@@leicestervintagetoyshop I'm thinking one of the 2 boxed ones (Not the clamshell ones)
We’ll check back at the shop tomorrow for you
