- Santhosh Narayanan talks about his composing style, how he makes a basic tune that is then developed and handed out to the players. He plays a BGM piece from Pariyerum Perumal - first on the piano, and then the final output (as played by the whole orchestra). He discusses contributors like Pradeep and Sean Roldan. Finally, he listens to a situation given by Baradwaj Rangan ("imagine you are a robot and you are falling for a human girl") and live-composes a BGM score.

Some 6-7 years ago, I was sad that nobody could reach anywhere NEAR Rahman sir’s level in the Tamil music industry. God has now sent a talented person, Santhosh Narayanan sir. I am so very happy to be his fan! His BGM has so much of depth! Notice at how he says it’s a dummy orchestral piece. Most of the music directors now will use that plugin for the official score or song.

Pls we want more sessions like this. Hope you consider such sessions with different music directors composing for your situation. These are footages that have been rarely released. I tell you this session will be seen as a cult session in 20-30 years!

Raja=arr=sa na - this comparison is based on uniqueness in their composition not on number of movies and songs .. I can see part of arr in u1,anirudh,gv and other .. this guy is very unique...
The arranger has so greatly arranged it. It takes more than musical knowledge to emote the notes to a violin string or a bass string. 🎶

Having said that, the situation given by BR is so amateurish but the way SaNa tried to lift it up with such involvement is commendable.
